Worth noting: Hockey Day in Canada games are usually the type of games Flames lose. Last W? Ironically against Vancouver three years ago.

Thank you. Get some perspective people... he let in 2 bad goals last game and got a pulled early. Man you guys have short memories... Rittich is the best goalie since Kipper, but you would probably rag on Kipper for the loss too. Outrageous.

Started the right goalie and lost. It's Dave's fault. Hey Dave, get your #### together.

6. Kylington and Andersson are fun to watch.
I'd capitalize on Frolik's goal scoring earlier in the season and ship him out, and bring in an upgrade like Zucarrello, Hayes or Nyquist for the second line.

Any edge you can get on another deep opponent like SJ.

I remember when we used to play good teams like Chicago, and needing our goalie to stand on his head to scrape out a 2-1 win.

Happy that the shoe is now on the other foot; more often than not you’re going to walk away with two points.

Which Canuck team is more unlikeable - the current one or the team that choked against Boston in 2011?

Burrows and Bieksa playing for the 2011 Canucks. It's not even close as to which team I hate more.

This isn't even a question.

2011 had Bieksa, Burrows, Kesler, Lapierre, Luongo, the Sedins, Torres.

2019 has... Virtanen I guess? Pettersson gets fawned over too much for my liking, but he's pretty spectacular.

Apparently losing two games in a row, one in a shootout, is a slump... man.... I’m guessing you guys weren’t alive in the young guns era...

I'd really like to see an upgrade on Frolik for the second line. He's far too inconsistent. Nyquist for a second could do wonders.

I actually have a hard time hating most of the current Canucks players. I hate them with typical rival fan "hatred", but nothing on a human level.

Burrows, Bieksa & Kesler are 3 horrible people, my hatred for them goes beyond the ice.

i hate the current team because of their annoying, luck-based style of play and their fans. i hated the 2011 team because they had prime kesler/bieksa/burrows and were an elite team, and also because of their fans

lol...

"Bring in another goalie" comments...

Like, its so easy to find another goalie better than Rittich at this point in the season...This ain't NHL 19 where you can just trade for a guy like that...

Dealing with Caleb Matthews and Patrick Hastings should be challenging, eh?

Neal tried to fake blocker and steer the puck 5 hole. Looked bad with Markstrom reading it, but not as bad as it looked.

Man. This place is punishing at times.

Give Rittich 20 more easy shots and the stats tell you he was a star. Is he at fault that he has to wait almost half a period for Boeser’s laser? (Crosses Royal Road, sniper with time and space - If Monny scores that, nobody runs the opposing goalie under the bus)

Even the one stoppable goal he would want back, was a wicked release. They showed a few of his other goals in the intermission and you get his heavy of a shot he has.

I will say that Markstrom had a few tremendous saves. Lots of good positional ones. Arguably the best one in my mind was the blocker upper arm on Mangiapane’s tip.

Also, so stupid to call out a goalie on one shootout goal against. That’s expected. The best goalies may be up around .750 careerwise. Only about a third are over .700. So getting in to one shootout, you are in statistically insignificant range. 2/3 saves is pretty much expected.
