Now +5 for the day. I wonder if how she finished 18 yesterday messed with her. Three putting from twenty feet for bogey.

Ganne at four under headed into the weekend. What a story that would be.

Just turned on the Memorial and wow are the cicadas ever loud.

Which brought back some memories. I was working in DC around this time of year when they last appeared seventeen years ago and it was so loud. I also remember going nuts in the hotel bar when Saprykin scored in game 5.

So Rahm is having to withdraw from the Memorial because he tested positive for COVID. Of note, he's currently winning by six shots....

Memorial is one of he biggest non-major's on tour too, so that's gonna cost him $1.7 million.

Why don’t they have him play alone?

I mean, what’s the estimate of the number of fans in attendance who are positive?

I guess. But they also let him finish the round today and waited to tell him until after.

He had hit his second shot on 18 by the time the second test result had come back.

There's no reason for him not to be fully vaccinated at this point. This is his own dumb fault and a costly decision.

Seems his playing partners weren’t vaccinated either.

I read that the PGA tour is slightly above 50% fully vaccinated. That is pretty lame for people who've had access to the vaccine for months, and travel around the country and are around countless different people every week. A lot of baseball teams are above 85%.

It's too bad Henderson had that bad round or else she'd be right there. Everyone not named Thompson really drooping.

I really wish Global still had the PGA tour rights with weekly coverage. How does CTV not cover The Memorial- other than majors and Players, it is in the top 3, maybe 5, of the regular tour rotation.

Real possibility that Ames and Weir finish 1, 2 in the senior tourney.

Ames tied for the lead but the guy he is tied with is in trouble. Weir a shot back.

holy ####, Thompson was up 5 with 8 to play and she doesn't even get into the playoff. Bogeyed the last two.

Yep, 1-2 finish. Really cool. I wonder if any Canadians have ever finished 1-2 in professional golf history. Not likely.
