Koepka/ Brian Gutekunst (Packers GM) vs. DeChambeau/Rodgers would have been worth the price of admission.

Would be fun to watch this one (the actual match). Moonlight Basin is at 7500' elevation according to Google, that will make it interesting to see how they adjust to the ball flying longer.

Came in here to post the Koepka-Dechambeau suggestion. They planned this just a little too early, right before the Dechambeau-Koepka thing exploded. But I think Koepka and Rodgers would have gone well together- talented and successful, but egotistical bullies.

And Dechambeau with Brady would have been my choice- both meticulous about their routines, diets and certain their formula is the key to success.

They need to let one of the two have temporary European citizenship so we can get a Ryder Cup showdown. Can you imagine how amazing the atmosphere would be for that?

Because Bryson says so?

Theyve had several twitter exchanges since the interview incident im not sure what a cherry picked couple of them proves. But guess we will have to agree to disagree.

If they ever pair up together I will glady bet you Brooks performs better.

Edit- if you want a better timeline of events and to see who is in who's head (as well as cameramen and ants in his head) heres a link Brooks vs. Bryson: A timeline explaining golf's newest rivalry

Weir has a four shot lead in the Seniors tournament this weekend, which is one of their majors. They're playing it at Southern Hills.

Yeah nasty hard golf course when conditions are like they are this weekend.

Just for perspective only 7 players are under par to start the weekend with +7 being the cut.

The round Weir put up yesterday was nothing short of phenomenal.

I bet Weir going to see more than a few wins from Mike in the coming years. Really happy to see the way he's established himself as a top senior player so quickly.

So the lead is gone and in a tie with Steve Stricker.

Weir kind of spraying the ball all over missing both left and right.

Still time to reel it in but +3 thru 12 on the day.

Yes this has a Norman/Faldo feel to it, except it’s Saturday. Just an awful back nine.

Tough finish for Weir after a great first 36 holes. His win earlier this year at Houston was at a weather shortened 36 hole event. Keeping it together over 72 holes on a tough course makes for a tougher test for sure. Still a good result.

My only advice for him is to lose the sunglasses on the back of the head look. Should shave a couple of strokes off his game.

Womens US Open this week....at the Olympic club.

Sets up pretty good for Brooke I think and she does really well on the West coast.

I just got her to win it at 25-1. Really good value IMO.

Brooke tied for the lead in round 1, she still has a few holes left.

She is tied with a high school junior at 4 under.

So she is out early today and is even thru 3 leaving her 1 stroke off the lead.

If she can get to the weekend at her current -3, I like her chances. The course is already playing tough and the USGA will make it even harder starting tomorrow. Announcers were guessing there may not be a player below par come Sundays finish.

Brooke hits it pretty straight though and that is an absolute must at Olympic. Her short stick let her down a couple times yesterday or she would have had the outright lead.

Shanshan Feng looks like she is dialed in and will be tough as is Brookes playing partner Lexi Thompson. Both have tied her at -3 thus far. Lydia Ko looked like she was gonna do what she does but had a really shaky back 9 yesterday and is +2 thru 4 already.

Great course and a great tourney.

Ugh, four bogies in a row leaves her at even par. Hope she can get back to red numbers at the turn.

Laughable take by anyone who thinks not only does Brooks care, but think that Bryson is in his head.

Edit: I see in senator's tweet above that was it haha.
