Give Janko the Backs/Fro NHL jump start. Still the 3M line just a new version, and probably still a huge possession driver.
Move Tkachuk onto a line with Bennett and Lazar. What a pain in the ass that line would be to play against.

Clearly if it has been a personal leave, there is some family issue that has been weighing on his mind. Ill give him the benefit of the doubt before writing him off. Still has great wheels.

Agreed. Has to be something going on there? Can't write him off just yet.

In the dream world that I live in Jankowski continues to get better and better. He becomes our third line centre behind Monny and Backlund. This moves forces Sam Bennett to his left side and Bennett becomes a sniping, goal scoring machine. For the next couple years we have three lines capable of scoring on any shift.

What you have to appreciate and love about Jankowski is that in contrast to some of our other first rounders that have started out hot in their first season in the AHL and then dropped off (Baertschi, Poirier, Mangiapane), he has actually stepped up his production and improved as the games are becoming more meaningful. He showed the same knack for being clutch in the NCAA. I think he will be a very useful player for the Flames as soon as next season.

Heat start an important road trip today. The next 5 games (3 vs the Stars and 2 vs the Rampage) are against teams that are lower than them in the standings. They need to get all the points they can out of this trip.
Adam Ollas Mattson is making his NA debut tonight.

I mean Mangiapane is 2 years younger than Jankowski, hopefully Mangiapane is more consistent next year but yes Jankowski has had an excellent season
