Awesome night of Destiny getting the Rat King with Steve and Ice.

The reason Destiny is so awesome and the best part of this game is moments like that. Down to our last couple seconds, bit of panic on the mics, and then coming out with the victory!!!

Yes. Because that is the proper way to play a game like Destiny. That Destiny one was a console exclusive should have been considered some sort of crime against humanity.

One of the better experiences I've had in a game.... it's a lot of fun, hard, but fun.

Managed to go in blind, not knowing anything about it and figuring everything out was fun, and rewarding.

Compared to d1 raids. It kind of took the best from all of them and put it on a massive scale... So I would say it is much better then the d1 raids

Sweet. I've feel so disconnected with destiny this time around.
I've barely played it so far, and I'm only level 17.
Tonight for the first time, I played a few strikes that were new to me.

Without getting into spoilers I'd say it is actually a step back from what I enjoy in Raiding. I feel like Wrath of the Machine was a near perfect raid experience. Had action, was a nice tight experience, and had some room for improvisation. By comparison the new raid is beautiful, but so mechanic heavy that it requires near flawless execution to get through.

I will say the final encounter makes up for a lot of the short falls, but a step away from what I thought was a near perfect raid experience. My 2 cents

It's likely the TV.

I played the original for years on a plasma, and switched to a 4K and the difference in the image was quite significant. Definitely prefer the "realness" of the plasma.

Edit - come to think of it, I've never played Destiny on the new TV with the original PS4. So maybe there is something to that. I should try it one day.

It's not HDR so there shouldn't be a difference when it comes to how it looks on the pro versus original. I imagine what your seeing is the OLED color representation. Maybe look into calibration or some settings online. If i use my TV on standard settings is so over sharpened and saturated it looks cell shaded.

Are you on an LG OLED? If you use game mode on these TV's it forces the colour space to "wide" so you get a bit of colour oversaturation. I have my colour slider down a few notches to help compensate.

Not sure if colour's what you're referring to.

Yes. It's probably the lack of HDR as I just finished Uncharted the lost legacy and it looked great but had HDR support. I played the first Destiny on a different TV so right away I found the changes jarring as it doesn't look as realistic which is the opposite that you would expect from higher resolution. That said they have had PS4 Pro issues from the start so I don't know if they put in the time to properly optimize it for checker boarded 4K.

I use the Disney WOW Blu-ray on my TV's so I feel the colors are properly calibrated and it's more a game thing than my TV.
