He's been much better than Lazar who has been invisible once again.

Wonder when he will realize being a great guy who smiles a lot and a good interview will not help him be an nhler. Very disappointed in his game this preseason.

Lazar will get the opportunity to start over a Klimchuk type just becauase of waiver status. Not to say it would ladt all season that way but to start for sure.

There is zero chance Lazar starts the season If the Flames have any accountability at all.

Lazar has not earned a spot and should not be on the roster opening night.

Lazar is either playing Oct 4th or he is in the press box. He is not going to be put on waivers.

It's safe to say that Lazar has no problem passing through waivers the way he's played so far...too soon, but his window to get his game together should be shrinking if there's any accountability.

Just my nickel's worth...

If he was some recent draft pick people would be going crazy about his game right now IMO

I guess i should have worded that is on the roster opening night because of his waiver status.

Why would we being going crazy? You mean because how bad he's been? Because nobody would be going happily crazy about his game no matter his age and especially not at 22.

It's clear you've decided this is going to be one of your one-dimensional hang-ups this year.

No one in that fourth line grouping has really stood out head and shoulders above the other, because they're not flashy players.

It's still early, and Lazar is nowhere near as bad as you've concretely concluded he is.

GoJetsGo trying to start an argument again. Yawn. Do you ever give up or get tired of being angry all the time?

Says the guy concretely informing everyone how terrible and awful a player is.

If you don't like having your position questioned, don't be so definitive.

Lazar has looked good on the PK, has thrown his weight around and had a few good shots on net. In short, he's looked like a 4th liner.

He has looked like an AHLer to me. He will be on waivers this season at some point and won't be picked up. That is definitive and that's the way I like stating things.

Yea, I've noticed. It's always to the extreme with you.

And suggesting "there is zero chance Lazar starts the season If the Flames have any accountability at all"

is more of the same.

I think you're vastly over dramatizing a few pre-season games. I don't think anyone in that group of fourth liners he's competing with have stood out, because they all play simple games.

He may not be standing out but he certainly hasn't been bad, invisible or any worse than the other players competing for those bottom line spots.

Calling the Flames accountability into question if he starts the season on the main roster is extremely overdramatic and really premature at this point.

If Lazar goes on waivers, I doubt he doesn't get claimed.
