That was one of the best episodes of Top Gear ever, IMO. Perhaps better than most of the specials...It had it all, it was a committee of personalities.
After watching Extra Gear last week, the interview with Chris Evans got me right in the feels, possibly redeemed him in my eyes.

Not sure I'd say it was among the best ever, but this episode was a big improvement. Finally Chris Harris gets on the main show! Rory and Sabine were great too.
I was never a fan of Star In A Reasonably Priced Car, and the new format isn't any better. It takes up a quarter of the show too.
That F12 TDF is insane.

I really liked that one. Not as good as the specials but up there with any regular episode of old top gear.
They were smart by having so many hosts. It makes it less about old hosts vs. new and then you can enjoy it more for what it is. I will be watching this every week for sure.

That was a great episode. More Harris all the time. IDC if he's such a romantic about the cars he drives, its actually why I think he is one of the best in the world. And the dude can flat out drive. There's a reason he is #1 in line to drive all the super cars, Top Gear is bloody lucky to have him, now use him properly. 130 km an hour drift in a new ferrari? Life doesn't get much better than that I think.
Sabine is another amazing driver with a good personality, need more of her too. Ze crazy german lady makes her passengers puke. Love it.
LeBlanc has sold me. He's a great fit. His bit with Ken Block was awesome.
About that: How lucky is Top Gear to get Ken Block to do Gymkhana London for them? He usually makes those films solo. I feel like that's a bigger deal than a lot of folks realize. I too want to know what the red button does.
The Focus review was good but not good enough. You want to call the Focus RS the best hot hatch on the market? Well you better darn well put it up against the Golf R then. Such a Bias review. But it was still good.
Over all, that episode was a great step forward. Need more of Harris and Sabine.

This episode was the best of the 3 for sure. Harris's film was great. It was the first time on the new show that you could feel someones passion for cars. Rory's film was good too, he gushed a bit too much, but it was enjoyable. Evans has not grown on me. He is constantly shouting. Instead of saying something funny, clever, interesting or new he just makes up for it with volume. Plus his car "reviews" come off as ads for the cars. I like Leblanc during the films, but less so in the studio. I don't think he has found his groove yet.
I think one of the biggest problems of the new Top Gear is they haven't properly introduced the new presenters. They introduced Evans by having him shouting in a Viper. I thought they would have talked about themselves a little more. Given more information about why they love cars, what their car interests are and why we should be watching them. Instead they just got into like nothing ever happened. They threw in the older presenter with 3 guests, he didn't even feel like a presenter. Very odd IMO.
The guest part of the show was almost always the weakest part of the old Top Gear. Now the new one has them dragging it out even longer? Ugh, why? The interview felt it like it was 15 minutes long (it might even have been). Plus, having people on as guests who don't even like cars is the worst (Jessie Eisenberg).

just watched 2/3 tonight, you can tell its improved
not a fan of Evans but if it's more so going forward like the 3rd episode especially as others have said it could be great
its not old Top Gear and once they figure that out, which seems to have been done quickly, it will be for the better
you can't recreate Clarkson/Hammond/May, that in something like this is a once in a generation combo

Hah, Chris Evans has quit.
That couldn't have gone any better for Clarkson and Co.

I never watched the show, but when I heard people talking about Chris Evans I thought it was the guy that plays Captain America.

The man cant speak and drive at the same time which, for a car show, is kind of a problem.

Well that was short lived. Kind of glad as it give Harris and Sabine more air time. I like that.
