Cardinals and Commanders are the bottom two. Pretty bleak
Just goes to show how much new facilities can change the perceptions of an organization amongst players. Raiders used to be dead last in these types of polls when they were in Oakland.

What's going on with the Rams and Chargers then?

I was speaking of the Raiders who came from the absolute worst facilities in the league to one of the better ones. Vikings also seem to be riding the wave of being in a top of the line new facility. Rams and Chargers are kind of a head scratcher for sure seeing the facilities are new and some of their low scores are facility ratings. It's possible Kroenke placed more emphasis on the stadium than locker rooms and training facilities but you would think given the astronomical cost of that stadium that everything would be top notch.

Edit. Out of curiosity I did a search and it appears the new stadium doesn't have training facilities and it appears the Rams have or had at the time of polling a temporary training facility.

Quote:
Part of the reason for the Rams’ poor grades is the fact that they don’t have a permanent training facility, using a temporary one at Cal Lutheran in Thousand Oaks.
Quote:
Players do not feel that the “temporary” facility was built to support professional athletes, and unsurprisingly, in the opinions of player respondents, it leaves a lot to be desired.

Chargers as well.

Quote:
To be fair, the Chargers have an excuse for some of the poor grades. As the NFLPA report card itself points out, the Chargers are currently operating out of a converted office, using that as a temporary facility while their updated one is currently under construction. Needless to say, since the office building wasn’t designed for NFL use, it’s not going to have everything the players want. The new facility should be up and running in 2024, which will boost up some of the grades.

At 5’ 10 1/8” and 204 lbs Bryce Young is even smaller than Kyler. I never felt watching him that he was so tiny but apparently he is

Then you’ve got CJ Stroud with the Ohio State QB curse, no wonder terrible Will Levis and objectively bad Richardson are shooting up draft boards

Richardson's ceiling is gonna be too high for teams to ignore. Can't see him getting past either Seattle or Detroit, which would both be ideal landing spots for him.

Would be awesome if Young fell down to the Raiders. I would rather have a short QB that can make all the throws than an athlete that can't throw the ball like Richardson. He's nowhere near as accomplished as Lamar Jackson was going into the draft and it's not like Jackson has magically turned into a great passer of the ball after years in the NFL. The guy has bust written all over him.

In a world where Daniel Jones will be at or north of $40 million a season I can totally get why teams would rather risk it on someone like Richardson. Yeah he could be a massive bust, but also could be top 3 QB in the league if he hits his potential. Young is obviously the safer choice, but because his floor is much higher if he doesn't hit his ceiling he may end up being, well, Daniel Jones level, and then you are stuck. If Richardson busts you are right back into the cycle. Until we get a reasonable QB middle class where you can get a Daniel Jones for $20 million a season then gambling seems wiser than playing it safe.

I would rather have Jones over nothing to show for a top 10 pick. He did just QB a mediocre team into the playoffs after all. IMO Richardson has almost no chance of being good in the NFL as he can’t throw the ball with any sort of accuracy. The only reason he will be drafted in the first round is because the NFL is terrible at evaluating college QB’s.

Richardson will go in the top 10, maybe even all the way at #1, because teams always thinking they can coach the bad out. His natural, unteachable skills are higher than anyone else in this draft. And it's not really "I'd rather have Jones than nothing to show for a top 10 pick", it's a choice between paying Jones $40 million per or hoping you can hit a homerun on a rookie. In that sense it becomes close to a no brainer, I think most of us would rather risk it on a guy who is 90/10 to bust over a guy who, at $40 million per, is 90/10 to never be better than the poor mans Kirk Cousins. Both situations are not ideal though.

Anyone who’s watched a decent amount of Florida football knows Richardson has no business being anything but a late day 2 or day 3 pick. Josh Allen is going to get so many scouting departments fired over the next few years

Richardson is Malik Willis without the production. Any team that takes him in the top ten deserves the bust that happens.

Seahawks are talking about a QB.

With 5 picks in first three rounds, and really even Carroll and Schneider have referred to this as a bonus, rare opportunity first round high pick (Let's Ride), if they could move down a few spots from 5 and get more picks and still get Richardson at 7,8, or 9, they might do that and think they can coach him up and start him as a backup.

That would probably impact how they deal with Geno...pretty sure he'll come back for a two year or so contract no matter what.

Rest of the draft should be focused on defence and offensive weapons.

He’s a big topic on Raiders forums. I’ve watched all these clips of him and I’m stunned he’s in the 1st round discussion. Just sign Streveler off the street if you want a running QB that can’t throw the ball.

The New Orleans Saints have emerged as the front runners to sign former Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr and an agreement could be reached as early as Monday, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Saints, who finished 7-10 last season, were among three teams, including the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers, to have pursued Carr for several weeks after the Las Vegas Raiders allowed the veteran quarterback to talk to teams to possibly facilitate a trade.

Titans shopping Derrick Henry according to reports and Simmons remains unsigned could also be moved. Titans might be doing a scorched earth total rebuild, yay more 2-15 seasons coming whoo

It's official now, Derek Carr is a Saint.

As much as this seems like a mediocre move, the QB options after him (especially for a team not drafting top 10) is pretty bleak. Safe to say between some of the leftover talent still on the Saints, and a weak division that looks up for grabs, Saints head office sees a chance to win the division with this roster.

It's going to be weird seeing him in gold and black. He's a good guy and I'll probably go out of my way to watch some Saints games next season as I will be pulling for him. The Saints aren't in position to draft a day one starting QB so this at least gives them a chance to be competitive in a mediocre division.

Yeah exactly. When Carr to Saints rumours first started a few weeks back, most Saints fans & media didn't seem on board, especially at that price...until they saw what the alternatives are (Mayfield, Jimmy G, etc) and see what the price of an upper "mid" QB is these days and it's actually not that far off (Carr getting paid roughly in the Kirk Cousins bracket). Then most seemed to warm to it.

I'm personally good with it, especially in a division ripe for the taking (and weak conference overall).
