I think Tyreek Hill might be telling votes to make Hurts the MVP and him OPOY. He's absolutely balled out this year.

As far as possible Chargering goes, losing to a team who's QB might not hit 25% completion tonight would certainly be close to the top. As much as they've dominated it's only a one score game.

Tua to Hill for their obligatory minimum 1 per game long bomb TD, no matter how poorly Tua is playing.

This is Chargering. Make a great play into the red zone and stall. Chargers are going to end up losing by 1 aren't they?

Seattle's losing streak is coming at a bad time, tight loss to TB in Germany, dubious loss last week to Oakland and self inflicted loss this week has them teetering. A unlikely win vs SF next week and maybe there is hope, but if not, they'd need to win out (including vs KC) and get some help for a WC.
So, tank away and try and get into the bottom 10 (currently 14th overall) with their own pick, and right now, Denver is in bottom 3.
A mess in Denver as they got duped by Russ the nice guy and smart guy, who convinced Denver coaches to run the offense his way (ask Seattle and now fired Schottenheimer two years ago how that 8 game experiment went) but PC and JS look like geniuses again for moving on from a player earlier than most would.

Yes what few Charger fans there actually are pretty much universally hate Joe Lombardi. I can only imagine Herbert in a Sean Payton offense.

It would be very Charger like to get back in prime playoff position...and lose to Denver in the last game of the season.

That's why putting the Chargers on primetime every week wouldn't be a bad idea, you just never know when the Chargering will pop up.

Almost gave that one away, but it wouldn't be the Chargers if we didn't try to!
What a game by Herbert; absolutely put the team on his back. Defense played really well considering how many key players were injured. Surprised Miami didn't commit more to the run game, which is the Chargers kryptonite this season. Hoping we can get into that 6/7 spot in the wild card...remaining schedule is favourable.

I actually disagree to sn extent with this, and here's why. To win 3 or 4 straight playoff games, it's extremely difficult to do that with every game staying on script and being able to not take some risks. Especially if you're team is the less talented one.
I do get the idea that too much hero ball can cost a team. Last year Mahomes had a bad stretch at the start of the year where he turned the ball over a lot, and he's in a similar funk right now. Four weeks ago it seemed everyone was all over Josh Allen for this exact thing. When a team has a clear talent advantage you can win by playing very conservatively. But to win 3 or 4 straight playoff games QB's are going to need to make more hero plays at some point.
As I noted earlier the Bill's and Bengals are far better than the Chiefs in terms of roster talent. A healthy Chargers team is too. Realistically I think the Chiefs claim the 2 seed and get beat in the Division Round by the Bengals. In order to win they'll need Mahomes to make multiple hero plays in that game. If they play Conservative and he doesn't try any of those...they lose pretty easily.
The Eagles likely won't cruise to a Superbowl by building up big second quarter leads and cruising home in the 4th quarter. At some point things probably go a bit sideways and Hurts will need to do something heroic in an adverse situation. He's definitely capable of it talent wise as he's probably the best run and throw combination QB in the league right now. But until he brings them back from a 10 point deficit naysayers will hang this cloud on him. Go three years down the road when Hurts is on a 50 million contract and they no longer have as much around him and he will need more Hero ball to keep them at the top of the Conference.

I was playing with the ESPN playoff machine and it's not too far fetched for the Lions to get to 10-7 and claim a playoff spot. Lions defence has improved a lot in recent weeks and their offence has been good.
The other scenario that can play out especially if the Chargers beat the Titans this weekend I'd the Jags claiming the NFC South with a 8-9 record.
