Pretty 'meh' period. Not the Flames best. But 0-0 and lot of time for them to ramp it up.

I originally thought Kiprusoff scored the EN goal.

Battling to prevent a breakaway/goal.
He also helped get the 2nd unit PP set up when everyone else was ####fumbling the puck around.

I'll take that Period. Oettinger needs to be busier though.

Stars have dragged Flames back into the mud. Wish Tkachuk had scored on that chance, but they have to push harder if they want to win

7 periods at home. 1 goal.
Something’s gotta give here.

Pretty uninspired period by the Flames. Dallas looks like they're just sitting back protecting a lead. Hopefully Sutter reads them the riot act and they come out flying in the 2nd.

I dunno - I see him missing passes and partially fanning a lot. He looks a bit nervous to me. Not costing anything though. Best game? Probably one early in the season when he was on a real tear but this is apples and oranges. It still could have been his best playoff game even with the fumbles.

Lame period. Exactly what Dallas wanted.
Feels like both teams conserving energy for when the game ranps up and doing the chess thing, but the Flames were better suited to just grab the bull by the horns and take away their hope early.
You have to remember that Dallas wants this close, and will just bide their time to wait for an opportunity to strike. They have very different priorities with this game than we do.
Let's make them play our game instead.

Too many fat cats and crumb bums in the lower bowl tonight I guess.
Upper Deck doing great (as always).

Team has to build on that coleman hit, and also convince Johnny that puck was tipped into his face on purpose...he plays so well when he is amgry at the other team

At the game tonight, it is definitely quieter than game 1. The team needs to give the fans something to cheer though as well, they sleep walked through that period.

Meh, I don’t have any issues with the crowd. Overall a very boring period and not a lot of high intensity plays. Nervous energy in the building. Flames played very cautious and tentative.
