Feels like yesterday we eagerly watched his every shift vs the Canucks after a pregame pep talk from Cammy in his last game as a Flame, all culminating in a sweet lone goal in a loss that didn't matter because we knew Johnny was going to be a gooder and were witnessing the start of something great here.

I think that’s the game one of the Sedins scored a through-the-legs goal that embarrassed us, but the half-fluke Gaudreau goal was by far the highlight to me

Nope. That through the legs goal was also in a last game of the season, but it was in Calgary

Congrats to Johnny and more importantly, it’s good to see him having fun again. I’ve been beating the drum for the 13-28-19 for quite some time and honestly, it kind of makes me a little disappointed we didn’t get to see this line sooner. As in like, 2018-2019 sooner. We had an elite top line in this trio all this time and had the switch been made sooner, who knows what the 18-19, 19-20 and 20-21 seasons could’ve been. Now, their “cheap” contracts are ready to expire and the window has shrunk considerably.
Sorry to bring down the mood of this particular thread. But the thought had come to me just now.
