It would seem that the hit triggered some sort of other pre-existing issue. Does not look good. I watched the game game where Dennis Byrd got paralyzed...was nothing like this.

Terrifying. Sobering. The reaction from the medical crew after he went down was different from anything I had seen but took a minute to sink in that this could be so dire.

So very hopeful the news is positive.

Yeah. They started CPR before the cameras turned away with Erikson.
But that Denmark game continued I think.

They have played in empty stadiums before I think you can play tomorrow and move other games to next Monday.

Asking the players refs and commentators to go back is not right.

Im guessing they will let the players decide if they want to continue or not.

If not im guessing the Bills will take the L, and try and deal with things they need to deal with. Cant see tomorrow being any easier unless they know he is OK.

Just devestating to see.

I don’t see anything easy about playing tomorrow. If he’s still in critical condition tomorrow, it could be just as hard to play. It creates rest and injury issues for next week. Not to mention TV.

Do the right thing and cancel the game. Way more important things to be concerned about and sending thoughts and prayers. I remember the Owen Hart situation and how the show went on even though it had the worst possible outcome. Never want to have anyone re-live that kind of moment. Obviously that’s the extreme outcome nobody wants so hoping he’s in good medical hands and makes a full recovery. Scary times.

My dad used to do this sort of thing in an emergency situation. His poop was very much not in a group & he'd have to be removed from the situation because it was very much not helpful - he'd just rage. I never understood it, maybe because I tend to get super calm in the moment & then fall apart after. I guess fear does weird things to people - fear is the only thing I could ever come up with, for his reaction, but who knows.
