I know he's had a rough past couple of years but Holtby's off to a strong start this year. And unlike Mike Smith he isn't Mike Smith.

It has been strongly rumored that Mangipane is on the 50 player list...probably won't make the final cut but that is pretty impressive.
Hockey Canada obviously noticed his work at the Worlds

Is anyone reporting the full 50 man list? All I've seen so far is the goalies.
Other than the 3 that were announced a few weeks ago (Crosby, McDavid, Pietrangelo), I haven't seen the names of any other skaters.

Assuming Price and MAF are selected, Hockey Canada has typically gone with a young goalie for the third slot. Because they benefit from the experience and won’t get in a snit about not actually having a shot at playing.
