Also freeze any leftovers you don't plan on finishing within 1-2 days.
We freeze basically everything and all leftover meals if not eaten within a couple days. There'd be so much waste and spoiled food in our house without the freezer haha.

I do not microwave pizza but I definitely just throw the pizza box with leftovers into the fridge. I'm lazy but also I don't like making additional waste even if it is just an insignificant large ziploc bag.

I used to have a rinky dink toaster oven that was ####ing awesome for day-old pizza. Even if you left it in the box in the fridge overnight.
Then one day I upgraded to a fancy dancy in-wall microwave/toaster oven combo, and it just doesn't hit the same. You gotta put in the toasting plate, change settings, ugh.
I find myself microwaving way more pizza these days.
Laziness, indeed.

100% this. Guerilla shopping, know what you need, where it is. Grab it, get out.

I couldn't live without a microwave. Only two of us in the household and since most meat/sides come in quantities of 4 or more, we do leftovers pretty much every other day. There are a select few meals that we'll reheat in the oven or on the grill that don't nuke well, but the slight dip in quality the second day is worth the time savings. (And, we usually stagger them too so you're not eating the same thing on consecutive days).

Woke up last night to a voicemail from my storage place saying it looks like my unit there was broken into. Won't be able to go take a look until tomorrow so no idea what, if anything, is missing.
That's some stress I could do without this week

But sprinting about in a grocery store is annoying too. Other people don’t want to step or even jump out of your way cause you’re in a hurry.
Most people actually enjoy grocery shopping and there’s a comfort associated with it. You are getting your daily food that you need to sustain yourself with.

I am 40, and enjoy grocery shopping. I go at non busy times, but find it relaxing and weirdly cathartic
However the checkout is terrible if I have to stand in line for even 1 minute!
However I use COOP where it seems to not be as crazy. Costco is only right at open on a Sunday to avoid people. Costco shopping is very un cathartic

A new survey from Nielsen found that while a quarter of global respondents are using online grocery ordering and 55% are willing to use it down the road, 61% reported that they still find grocery shopping at the store to be an “enjoyable and engaging experience.” Nearly as many—57%—said that retail grocery shopping is a “fun day out for the family.” (Um, really?)
According to this one survey a lot of people still enjoy grocery shopping, I know I do. And going to Costco is a real treat for me as I don’t shop there frequently. Usually when it’s busy at Costco they have all their tills open and the lines move fast too.”

I just find I end up with more variety in my pantry if I spend 20 minutes looking through a grocery store. I still use grocery delivery sometimes though.

Shopping in big box stores of any kind is soul-destroying. The inhuman scale, the lines, the pervasive atmosphere of desperation. The whole business model is lower prices in exchange for a worse experience in all other ways. I get depressed just setting foot in a Costco, Superstore, or Walmart. I’m glad that our division of domestic chores means I don’t have to.

People that wear far too much cologne or perfume. The negative of having everyone back in the office is that there's this older woman in the cube next to me that wears so much perfume that I actually have to make several morning trips to other parts of the office for fresh air as it's legitimately suffocating.

Buying tons of necessities, sucks. The opportunity of buying a ton of #### you don't need is always fun.
I wouldn't enjoy the milk and eggs portion of the trip, but I can see how the junk food portion would be a blast.

I won't make any assumptions on your particular situation, but I wonder what proportion of storage contents actually end up getting used?
