I've thought its been really good. Good actors, great story and good production value.

I'm also a bit of a sucker for pseudo/revisionist history stories.

I really enjoyed the premiere episode of Harley Quinn, at times hilarious with tragic undertones. They do play some characters for jokes.

Commissioner Gordon using the bat signal to invite Batman to a family BBQ made me laugh.

Its really well done, and Harley comes across as strong yet insane.

Its on Adult Swim the first episode was last Sunday, next one is this Sunday.

Still laughing at the scene with an unshaven Commissioner Gordon flicking the bat signal on and off. Batman shows up and he invites him to a Family BBQ and you hear Batman exclaim "Nope" as he vanishes into the night.

Poison Ivy is great as well.

It’s old but worth it. The Office has released the entire ‘Threat Level Midnight’ by rookie filmmaker Michael Scott.

I haven’t watched any of the CW superhero shows except for 2 or 3 episodes of Flash. Trying to watch the Crisis crossover event and it’s not easy. This is porn movie quality acting and everyone looks like a model. Guess I’m not really the target audience here.

I got 15 minutes into it and gave up, its just awful and the acting is terrible, it was interesting to see Brandon Routh reprising his role as superman.

I was having a slow day at work today and I had the TV on and saw Buffy The Vampire Slayer episode the Body. God that was one of the best TV episodes that I've ever seen

Too lazy to bump GoT thread but it’s been running on HBO 3 episodes a night from the beginning. I’ve been PVRing them. I honest to god forgot how amazing this show was. People talk all the time about crappy seasons or sequels ruining shows and franchises **cough TLJ cough**. I can say in all honestly that rewatching this show has washed away all disappointment in seasons 7 and especially 8. Just have to remember to stop my PVR after the S6 finale, which imo is possibly the best episode of the series.

Bonus points for the broadcasts being 10x the picture quality vs watching on crave where it looks like you’re watching on a 20th generation VHS tape that was originally filmed on a 15 year old blackberry.

I'm four episodes into The Witcher (Netflix). I never read the books nor did I play the video game so I didn't have any preconceived notions as to what I should expect in the TV series and I think that's a good thing.

I am enjoying it so far.
"The Witcher follows the story of Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than monsters and beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a special gift, the three must learn to navigate independently the increasingly volatile Continent."

James May's 'Our Man in Japan' on Amazon Prime.

Watch it.

We got through a couple of episodes last night and it was thoroughly enjoyable watching James May putz around Japan.

It has your standard travelogue ideas, some different stuff and of course some standard humour thrown in as well.

Wife and I just started watching The Man in the High Castle earlier this week, we're already on Season 3 and hooked. Too bad Season 4 is the final season, but I guess you can only do so much with that storyline.

Highly recommend it to anyone that hasn't watched the series yet.

I recommend Servant on Apple TV+. It's co-produced by M Knight Shyamalan but he didn't write the script.
"A Philadelphia couple is in mourning after an unspeakable tragedy creates a rift in their marriage and opens the door for a mysterious force to enter their home."

We’re watching Friday Night Lights, finally. Great series! Missed it when it was on but we’re enjoying it now.

I'm almost done S1 of The Man in the High Castle. I'm a fan of these dystopian tv shows so I'm really digging the concept of this one (if the allies had lost WW2 and the Axis take over North America). I read it gradually gets worse as the seasons go on, so we'll see what I think of it by the end. But thus far I'm really liking it.

I wouldnt say 'worse' per se. I thoroughly enjoyed Season 1 and thought season 2 was pretty good but it started going off the rails near the end and then I just really couldnt get in to Season 3.

I like the story, I like the world they created but at some point it just became difficult to follow.

I’d love a series (or a takeoff on Man in the High Castle) about life in Europe - same premise and timeline.

Man in the High Castle started waning when it became less dystopian alternate reality and more Sci Fi. Still want to finish it soon.

I have always been interested in the concept of this show (I loved the Fatherland novel) but when I heard the direction they had taken in later seasons, as you’ve alluded to here, it really lowered my interest in checking this out.
