Someone didn't get the memo that Verstappen and Gasly are starting at the back of the grid.

Monza is a good overtaking track. Albon started at the back at Spa and still finished in the top 10 I think. And Max is great in the wet. If it rains it could be chaos and that favours Max.

The top guys almost always seem to claw back to top 8 or so when they start way back, even last.

That was equal parts hilarious and disgraceful.

This happened in F3 qually and I think the top 10 all got 10 place grid penalties. I would not be mad if they did the same here.

Strangely enough reddit is blaming it all on Stroll. Despite the fact he didn’t block anyone on a fast lap, met the min lap time and was under no obligation to go faster. If those idiots wanted to pass they could’ve.

Edit: apparently Stroll didn’t meet the min time but then neither did anyone else. Not sure if that’s confirmed tho.

Is it supposed to rain tomorrow? if so Max at 34 to 1 is looking pretty good right now.

Think it is supposed to still rain. How do grid penalties work if they actually are penalized?? Does Max move up since he took penalties already?

The penalty system is one thing I still can’t figure out. It keeps changing year to year too. I even watched the chain bear YouTube video explaining it and it still doesn’t make sense to me.

Wow. Just finished watching qualifying. That is pathetic. I hope they all lose 10 spots. It's embarrassing for the sport.

Only if they drop them to the back of the grid. But even if it is a 10 place penalty that wont' affect Verstappen's starting place.

I might actually get up early for once if it's going to rain! and put $5 on Albon to win at 251-1
