Default fonts changed?

Maybe I'm just slipping here but have the fonts gotten smaller? It looks fine for me on my android phone but in chrome it seems like the fonts shrunk?

Thanks!

The new goggles also do nothing.

I changed my monitor to a bigger one so I thought I was just imagining things but I thought I noticed the same thing.

I thought we were using some kind of Google font, but in the page source I see that portion commented out, so I'll take a look and see what may have changed.

I uncommented that but I don't see any changed. I honestly have no idea what could have changed.

I'm getting a "Not secure" indicator for here now in my address bar. The cert is still valid (until next month), so whichever service the font(s) are loaded from might be the cause of that (and why they're not actually loading).

Actually, it turns out the answer is in the console logs...

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=194888&page=3' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet 'http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:400italic,700italic,400,700'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.
Looks like the site is trying to load the fonts via HTTP vs HTTPS which, depending on people's browser settings, would either cause the fonts to load or not load.

Oops, should have seen that. Just changed it to https, but I still don't see any difference in the font.

But on the bright side, the "not secure" indicator is gone now

Edit: Open Sans might be too subtle of a change to see right away. You could try something more obvious like Roboto just to make sure the import you're editing is the one that's actually being used. Sometimes there can be multiple imports... Like a global one defined somewhere, but a locally targeted override inside a module is the one actually being used, etc

Update: just tried using microsoft edge lol and it seems perfect. The fonts in chrome are somehow like 8 point font still. The difference is night and day

Edge on PC? I tried on my mac and Chrome and Edge look the same.

I don't suppose you could post a screen shot of the difference between the two? I'm not even sure what it's supposed to look like at this point lol.
