I just said today I doubted this would happen, but I've been a wrong before a lot and will be wrong again.
Revised overly-optimistic off-season plan
- Trade Ferland+something for a first
- Trade Brodie+Sam for Galch+Gallagher
- Sign Hickey
- Other neat stuff
No need to tell me that's not realistic. I'm well aware of that.

Sign Hickey as a free agent.

This is not what I want to hear. In order to get a first, the Flames have to include one of Ferland, Bennett, Brodie, or Hamilton. The first 2 are too young to trade, Brodie deserves a second chance on the right side with a new coach, and Hamilton is too valuable.

I disagree. I think Ferland is a must-trade in the offseason. I am almost 100% confident that his value will never be higher.

Agree. People can say all they want that Smith was our mvp but i think Gio was our MVP this year. He doesn’t have allot of mileage on him and expect him to continue to earn his contract. Smith take out the last couple weeks was a awesome addition and top 3 player this year.
