Questions have been asked where was security?

But.... given the history of this fixture and King Eric the best explanation is that their main job focus is to protect the Palace fans from United players and not the other way.

Not as much today, but seeing united especially since the break

When they add Kane this summer, that's a legitimate title challenger

But I've seen plays like that called penalties before, so it's 50/50.

Vieira's club doing what they can to protect Arsenal's lead at the top.

Now do Spurs try and do the same tomorrow? Or throw the game to try and hurt Arsenal?
Spurs won't go out and throw a game to hurt Arsenal - they are professionals, not fans and they are in a real dogfight for the top four. I think City get the win - that's hardly going out on a limb, but as I've said in another post, they have the players up front to really hurt you even if they aren't in it for most of the game. While Spurs have been objectively poor this season, they have some very talented players that mean they are never really out of the game until the final whistle.

I think United should push Martinez into the DCM role with Casemiro's absence this weekend, with Shaw filling in at LCB again.

Trossard is a really smart signing for Arsenal. Knows the PL, can do a job immediately and a solid price ... I know it's not as flashy as Mudryk and the likes, but I fully expect Trossard to be the better signing in the end.

I was mostly joking, I know they won't actually throw the game.
But at least if they lose, they'll have a silver lining today.

Let's all hope Spurs win today!! Very rare I can say that
To be honest, I can see them getting something out if the match today.

On another note; Trossard to Arsenal looks to be happening.

Spence can't even get on the bench now.

As much as Conte whines about executives being more accountable to the press someone needs to ask him for an explanation as to why he refuses to give him a chance.

Reading he might go out on loan this month.

As a fan of seeing younger players and prospects get a chance it sure is painful being a fan of Antonio Conte and Darryl Sutter managed teams right now.

why? I think it's hilarious. Boehly is like a dumb teenager getting his hands on FM for the first time, there's no sense or strategy behind it all ... they're just adding and adding to an already bloated and unbalanced squad. This is textbook "how to not build a football team".

Man if I had $5 Billion I'd probably do the same thing at first if I bought a hockey team or football team.

haha I agree, its definitely hilarious, just don't want them inflating the market for those who know what they're doing.

I’d buy the Oilers and destroy the team, but Katz beat me to it.

yeah that's true. I kind of thought Newcastle would be the ones to ruin the market, but they've actually held back so far and it looks like they're coasting to the CL without even breaking a financial sweat. Instead you have this American madman throwing money at everybody who can kick a ball. Crazy stuff.
