Should be a good game this afternoon. I'll probably only get to watch the first period because the Flames didn't play at 3.

It's Ortio vs. MacIntyre. Marlies netminder is 2nd in the league in wins. Lamb draws in for Arsene. Ostrow for Hathaway.

Interview with Jordan Singlet (goaltending coach):

- Last night's win was huge. Confidence boost to win two in a row, finally beat Utica, putting so many pucks in the net.

- Ortio's biggest strength is his confidence in the net. Let's the team get a lead and team is confident that he will hold it.

- When he returned from Calgary, Ortio commented that the Flames game was almost easier to play then the Heat. Can make a few more mistakes at that level. Kid has ice cold veins, nothing bothers him, nothing shakes him.

- Guys are excited to get home after this game so they will leave it all on the ice tonight. Have a week off after this so they want to play this and get their break.

Nice Sven, getting physical. He's already done more today than he did last Sunday.

Wow, desperation move by MacIntyre there. That should have been one for Street.

Am I the only one noticing that most of the Marlies are targeting Reinhart? I don't think they are happy about that hit last week still.

C'mon Heat. They're leaving Ortio out to dry.

Heat were leading shots 6-2. It's now 9-7 Marlies.

If they just looked at the video they could see it was hardly a hit from behind. Probably one of the lamest misconducts I've seen.

Huge toe save from Ortio. Makes it look easy though.
