Right now Jankowski, Bennett, Versteeg and Ferland are bottom 6 guys that can play in the top 6 and not be obviously over matched.

I'm not for re-signing Stajan. That said, if you played him as the LW with Backlund and Frolik I think you'd be surprised at how he was still pretty effective and wouldn't "drag them down".

I changed my mind on Matt Stajan. If he continues to play like he has since the All Star break, I would consider signing him to year by year 1 year contracts.

are you kidding? You really think that with Tkachuk out that Stajan would be considered to get some time in the top-6??? That would be telling the team, the league and the fans that the Flames have run up the surrender flag.
