Reminds me of the Brent Sutter days. Mike Keenan had the Flames playing some awesome hockey, Sutter comes in and makes it boring. Hartley comes in ya they weren't good but atleast it was entertaining. GG comes in and makes it boring.

I honestly can't see any development in this team over last year. That means we've basically used up 2 years from everyone's contracts with little to show. That's bad asset management.

Does anyone know if they've released the schedule for the Corsi playoffs? Looking forward to watching the Flames make a run for the Fenwick Cup.

Backlund's miss coupled with Gillies not sharp on the chance the other way and not holding his post. Confidence lost and the team gave the coach a big FU and quit in him.

JG played 11 minutes in the third. 11. Over 24 minutes in the game.

Losing Smith was turning point of season.

Ya I was so sad when we booked our family vacation for 2 weeks at the end of March, missing all but one if the last 7 games of season.

Now, I'm thankful.

Turning point should never happen 1 minute into the second period.

I'm worried there will be no changes made. The time to fire Gulutzan was much earlier in the year, and they instead chose to run with Gulutzan to prove how much smarter they are than everyone else.

This coach has done nothing at the NHL level, and has not improved this team one little bit in 2 years.

Not protecting the Hamonic first round pick should cost everyone from Burke down 1their job. Regardless of whether it ends up being #1 or #12. The only difference between 1 and 12 is luck, and good managment doesn't rely on luck.

Corsi winners, 50+ shots on goal, blah blah blah. The only thing that matters is this team cannot put up a W when it is imperative. Any adversity and they fall apart like wet toilet paper. I’ve never seen such a passive group of players. Like zero passion or ability to dig deep. Hartley has his warts but he had a much less talented team playing hard and for each other. Not saying I want him back but it should be 100% clear to even the most ardent Gulutzan supporters that he is not an effective coach. His system sucks and his motivation skills are even worse. What an utter disaster this season has been.

1st line hasn't scored in 3 straight games. Monahan has gone completely cold.
2nd line has been okay but that's about it.
3rd and 4th lines are the worst in the league.
Defence allowing way too many grade A scoring chances
No #1 goalie.

This roster doesn't have what it takes to go 11-4-2 or whatever it is we need. Should probably fire Gulutzan and get a head start on looking for the new coach.
