Flames charity tournament is today, Saturday March 3, at the Deerfoot Casino. This will be my first time playing. I hope to undress many Flames.

Last year was incredible at Grey Eagle. I won a boat load of prizing that well surpassed what I payed to get in. Hopefully it will be just as good this year.

Good luck and be prepared for a bucket-list experience. I'm still giddy about playing in it last year. Will be burned in my brain for eternity!

Do you get to play against Gulutzan? That would be fun.

I think Gulutzan would be tough to play against. He doesn't show any emotion. He must have a killer poker face.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

ya that ring is worth 10 grand.

had it by my table as well.

I basically hung out with Ron Stern for the night, this guy and Brent Khron are a fing sht show. absolute incredible stories and all around great guys. had to leave early due to work but had an absolute great time.

Gully went out early.

King went out at before the dinner break but because he said next hand wins my jersey. Alot of prizing and way more spenders than last year. imo.

random contest of the night was: guess 7 numbers, you get it right and your a millionaire. i'm pretty sure it wasn't won.

Surprising. I know a few guys who played at his table last couple years and said he was super boring to play as he played extremely tight.

Trip Report:

Wow, that was a lot of fun. I was invited for being a STH. Solo registration was $650, and its an amazing value. Lots of freebees: Included a wine gift set (8 wine glasses, wine tasting, bottle of wine), golf fitting, $100 gift card, and a custom fitted shirt. Lunch and dinner is included, with open bar. And of course, you get to play poker and rub shoulders with the Flames.

Everyone is dressed up in Western wear -- it feels like a swanky Stampede party with the Flames players. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Awesome. I did this eight years ago. I also highly recommend it to Flames fans. I had a blast. Although I did win some money (finished in 6th place), the cost of the buy in is just too rich for my blood with three little boys now.
