Honestly this series has potential to be one of the best and possibly the biggest upset in the 1st round.
The Lightning, while incredibly dominant for about 3/4 of the season, and coming off a 5 game win streak to start the month of March they went 6-6-1 to finish off the season. Not a great record for the team that has been tearing up the NHL since September.
The Devils, have been one of the hottest teams since Mid-march and their strong playoff push gave them a 10-3-1 record in the same time frame that Tampa Bay had. The Devils fought to get here and I don't think they will roll over and die when Tampa comes out swinging. I would love to see Hall, Schneider and the Devils go far this spring.
Ultimately, Tampa in 7.
