Sorry, it was the patio that was packed. The way their patio is set up, it's not that much different though. They really push the boundaries of what it a patio and what is enclosed. I was also thinking of a different Cactus Club, not the one on Beach.

Personally I think all NHL players/staff should be vaccinated already. People would complain that the rich are jumping the line but IMO they are providing entertainment in a time where people need a distraction. A few hundred doses are a drop in the bucket anyway, charge the NHL 10K per shot or something.
|
The US teams will all be vaccinated quite soon if they haven't started already.
The Rangers cancelled practice yesterday so the players and staff could all get vaccinated.

IF Canada and the WWII allies lived up to your standards and shunned Josef Stalin's help we would likely be speaking German in a Gay and Jew suppressed world.
No matter how you spin it Trump has no record even nominally comparable to Stalin or the CCP.

No way. Watching the Oilers lose in the playoffs is just as good as a Flames win.
Course NONE of this been happening in the past decade!

Add Vitamin D to that list - it’s a tell.

Ya, vitamin is actually super important to take. Especially during the winter season. Depression rates are at their highest

If your doctor tells you to take it, for sure do that.
When someone tries to tell you Vitamin D is the reason Covid has been so deadly to the black community, it’s definitely a tell.

Lol Vitamin D isn't a conspiracy theory related item. Take vitamin D- it is an integral part of the immune response process.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3166406/
Pretty much everyone in Canada is deficient in Vitamin D, especially during/after winter.

The growing body of medical evidence is that vitamins and supplements are useless for most people, unless they have particular deficiencies.
https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/rou...ostly-useless/
Quote:
The bottom line message for the average person is this:
There is essentially no benefit to routine supplementation, and there may be some risks. You are far better off saving your money, and spending it on fresh produce. Have a varied diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables and you are overwhelmingly likely to get all the nutrition you need.
For those with special needs or if you have any questions, simply consult your physician. Targeted supplementation based on specific needs and measured blood levels is the way to go.
|
https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/whe...s-supplements/
Quote:
The use of supplements is, for most people, not supported by science. There is little consumer protection, even less evidence of benefit, and even some evidence of harm.
|
https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/the-supplement-con/
https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/the...-of-vitamin-d/
Quote:
Multiple studies, summarized in a systematic review and meta-analysis, have found that lower vitamin D levels are associated with an increased risk of depression. Trials that have studied supplementation have been difficult to interpret owing to multiple sources of bias. Systematic reviews are conflicting. At best, vitamin D may have a small effect on patients with clear depression, but the evidence is still unclear. Vitamin D has no effect on well-being in the general population who do not have clear depression, even when vitamin D levels are low.

I exaggerated, but ~33% of canadians are below the cut off line for Vitamin D blood levels.

However a portion of the population is severely deficient, and large portion is insufficient.

For something that is so important, and there is such known prevalence of insufficiency, I’m at a loss for how “Vitamin D” = tell for crackpot?
