Who would watch the AFC Championship over this?
The football doesn't end until like 10pm Eastern. You'd have to play at 10am to avoid football.

Another day, another troll.

Nevertheless:
- 3pm est the warmest it would get in theory, for a day time kickoff in January.
- All games on CONCACAF are around the same time every match day.
- Canada has to get to El Salvador too after the game, if even tomorrow, so they aren't or don't want to be playing Sunday night (in the colder weather).

You can't play yesterday or tomorrow, FIFA has set days for each confederation. So yeah youd have to play at 10am to avoid 8 hours of football.

10am? 1pm would work and give Americans something to watch while they wait for football.

Hopefully Borjan got all his jitters out last game. He was on fire in the 2nd half so hopefully that continues into this game.

Players will be really motivated so I’m hoping for all three points let’s do this

I doubt they lose too many viewers to NFL Football today. Had it been the Bills hosting todays AFC Championship it might have resulted in a few more people selling their Team Canada tickets today.

I would classify as one of those bandwagon jumpers who see's Canada having a good team and a chance to make the world cup so I'll check in on the game. Nowhere near the fan many of you that have followed the team for years are. Hopefully Canada can play well and get a draw or win today. Although even a bandwagoner like me knows Canada is missing a couple of key players so they'll need to gut it out today. Either way it's been like 36 years since the program was at this level, so those of you that have been with it thru that hopefully get something awesome happen today.

Winning this game would be huge so would a tie to stay top of the group.

But realistically keep winning the games we are supposed to and this qualifying cruises home nicely.

A draw today would be ideal, but I just can't see Canada pulling it off. Their main focus should be on getting to half-time without conceding a goal.

I'm predicting a comfortable 1-0 win for the USA.

I wonder if the stadium being at 50% capacity outside on a windy day is really that much better than just a full stadium like Edmonton had. I doubt it. Would have been nice to have those seats packed to the rafters with fans today.
