One thing that's been good to see has been Biden and DeSantis working together quickly to get what Florida needed for the hurricane. No doubts in my mind they were both likely begrudgingly praising the other about their responses to the hurricane but it wasn't long ago the President was threatening to withhold aid to California for forest fires because "they should be raking" (in reality, because they're a blue state) or launching paper towels into crowds.

This way Biden gets to look a saviour without really upsetting the profit-prison system. Realistically, this as close as to a victory as you could ask for. I'd bet that number gets whittled down a lot more before it actually goes into practice.
