Thought it would be funny and light hearted....what a buzz Kylington.
I was so happy when they drafted him, the kid has so much potential. I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be a top pairing guy on the team in the future.

It was really weird how he dropped that season in the rankings. From potential one, to surefire top 10, to not the first round. I had heard attitude issues at the time but that doesnt at all seem to be the case given the org's experience with him so far: he seems committed to fitness, he seems like a good learner, and he seems likeable. Though I will caveat that he doesnt have as many photos mixing with teammates and stuff I guess?
I'm excited to see how he plays this year.

Anyone else concerned that if he gets sent down to the AHL or slotted as the 7th D, he requests a trade? Or that it creates long term animosity?
I don't think he's an idiot. Guys like Hamonic and Brodie aren't long for the team and if one of them is gone, he's in the top-six straight-away.
With Hanifin able to shift over, I think Kylington will be pushing Valimaki for second-pair minutes in no time. They're both awesome.

Considering that there were trades on the table at the deadline where teams were demanding his inclusion and Treliving told them to pound sand I'm not overly concerned.
Hes in the long-term plans and he knows it.

Unfortunately Seattle will probably poach him. I hate expansion.
If kylington develops and the flames are good I wouldn't be surprised to see Treliving offer up picks for Seattle not to take him

I really like kylington last year when they told the story about his skates and showed them being all rusty and stuff but he keeps them anyways because they seem to be fine he seems like he has a very level head on his shoulders
This is one if those stupid gratuitous instagram videos. It literally showed him doing one set of sled pulls and one set of sled pushes with 3/4 of the video him walking in slow motion.
All filler no content.
Maybe I'm alone here but maybe give us some more insight into his workouts. I sure hope all our players are off season training... this really tells us nothing about it.

Least favourite, without any question: Kylington
I haven't a clue what there is to hate about him.

I've come around in regards to Kylington. Used to think he was an adventure in his zone, but he seems to have picked up his game. Like Rasmus Andersson, a second rounder that you have to be patient with (albeit they play different styles). Kudos to the Stockton coaching staff.
Andersson only really came into his own this past season. Kylington I think will follow.
Seattle will likely pick up a good player from the Flames (and many other NHL teams). You can't worry about that until it happens. We'll see how it plays out. Vegas chose a pending free agent in Derek Engelland (a motivated signee) when they could've chosen any unprotected Flame instead.
