If Hargreaves went on a British passport, I reckon he wouldn't have required a Skilled Worker visa.

Quite a circus with the transfer of Malcom from Bordeaux. Roma had a deal and announced it, but prior to the medical Malcom was told to stay in France. Now Barcelona has swooped in and made a deal for him!

Apparently there were fans waiting for Malcom to welcome him to Rome, but obviously he’s not going. I’m not sure what it says about grown men waiting at an airport as fans welcoming a player, but it’s pretty scummy of Barcelona nonetheless.

Davies follows up his big signing with a 2G,2A night. Absolute beast of a game from him. His striking ability just getting better and better. 5G 10A now.

He couldn't at 17 be awarded PoM because it was sponsored by Bud. Our liquor laws are so backward.

Apparently Inter are trying to sign Modric. Serie A on the upswing it appears.

I'd love to see Modric in a Inter shirt.

Aside from Juventus, I don't see how Italian clubs can sustain the financial outlays required to compete at the top European footballing table. These clubs require either sugar daddies or a sound sustainable model. However, all I see is a fair bit of ambition.

can't see it. Inter have done well this summer, but they still have to be careful with FFP and primarily did swap deals (like Nainggolan from Roma) and loan deals (like Vrsaljko from Atletico, and probably Vidal from Bayern). Info comes from di Marzio though, who's as reliable as it gets ...

It's good shrewd business if it happens, but god damn this is going to be a painful year.

Barcelona are doing their best Chelsea impression this summer, it seems. First they stole Malcom from under Romas nose, now it seems they are doing the same with Arturo Vidal who was thought to be Inter bound.

Is that shocking? They haven't been tested in like eight years, probably zero clue how to up their game.

Bundesliga opener between Bayern and Hoffenheim, it's 1-1 with 10 minutes to go ... and Bayern get a penalty for this. And they wonder why nobody gives a flying #### about that league anymore.
