I think there is a bird turf war going on on our roof. Over the last couple years, on several occasions, we have noticed a flurry of small swallow-like birds zipping outside our balcony, along with a few large crows. Last year I found a severed bird leg, and later a bird wing in our backyard. It seemed to escalate when I found a small decapitated bird head on our balcony.

Found another bird wing this year, and now yesterday a decapitated squirrel! A little worried what to expect next.

Did that with wasps one year. As we killed them we impaled them on toothpicks, lined them up and stuck them in the ground a la Vlad the Impaler. Didn't seem to work and in hindsight perhaps not the best idea as it seemed to attract more of them. Seemed like a good idea at the time but there may or may not have been alcohol involved.

Well, I didn’t mean literally “camp” in the downtown branch. Hopefully you knew that.

I mean, go to the main branch in Calgary. I wouldn’t expect anything useful to happen at a small branch. I had to deal with estate crap too, and it’s pointless. You think the RBC employee in the burbs can do anything? I go to The RBC downtown, the guy goes up to the 20th-whatever floor and comes back with my documents signed and completed. Better than messing around with a bunch of clueless, powerless minions.

You should stay inside. I think you’re next.

Leftover chopsticks from Chinese take-out through the carcass and embedded into the lawn and you've sent your message!

I’m convinced that Kijiji uses bots to keep you engaged with old ads. There’s just no way that this many people behave like this, set up times to meet and then completely ghost. I know there are a lot of #######s out there, but there is no way they’re all on Kijiji….

Been traveling a lot lately so could probably make a giant list of airport gear grinders, but I'll keep it short today. Or maybe this would just be better suited for my hypothetical 'people you think are weird' thread I still haven't made.

What's with people sitting on the floor? There are tons of available seating

Also, side gear grinder, but I love how the vast majority of driving gear grinders can also be applied to walking. I guess it's the same people causing the problems, just completely unaware morons. Seriously, stay in your lane. And if you're coming out of a door, you're entering the flow of traffic, find a gap don't just walk into someone. And don't stop in the middle of the road.

Can't speak for everyone but at Pearson, and a few other airports I've seen, people are sitting on the floor because they can access outlets on the wall.

Seems to be the case, at least they're usually plugged in.
But since I've started paying attention to it there's always seats or benches with plugs within 50ft. I guess they're just people that don't look around, they see one plug and decide it's the only one they can use?

I see that a lot too so I just assume they’ve uncovered that those benches are a part of yet another plot by the WEF to reduce the population. I mean, haven’t you noticed how the chairs at so many airports looks similar all over the world? Think about it man, think about it!

Hopefully the sarcasm in this post doesn’t need to be pointed out.

Are you watching the clips backwards?

My understanding is a dead wasp gives off a pheromone that attracts more.

The best wasp trap is the pop bottle method placed in a far corner of your area. As soon as one dies in it, they all die in it.

Those bags are wild. Like the pop bottle method on steroids. I think we killed hundreds with one bag alone one year.
