I used a VPN with a UK IP and bought a monthly subscription to Fite TV online for like $7.
EDIT: They've also only had 1 TV show, so you could torrent that and then watch live or DVR TSN on Wednesdays.

This week was an important week for the WWE to prove to fans that they could be better with the increased competition, plus the relaunch of Smackdown, and they failed.
They failed with how they booked the Lesnar vs Kofi match where fans were unhappy leaving that show.
And tonight they failed with how they booked the Fiend and Rollins match.
To have fans booing several minutes after the end of the show, and having fans that bought tickets to your PPV chanting AEW during the main event is not a good sign for the wwe. Really interested to see the ratings this week.
|
There's a video on twitter of the house lights coming up and the fan reaction is completely ugly, from boo's to chants of refund, to AEW to my personal favorite "F$$$ you WWE"
This is ugly. Like I said in the flood to talk about the train wreck of the main event, Sasha and Bayley were pretty much buried tonight. Sasha needed that win against Becky, and ended up crying after the match, and Bayley loses her title and sitting outside of the ring crying about bad things happening to her.
That's just tremendously bad HHH as the shovel man level burying.

So tomorrow is operation fix this on Raw.
We're going to have Seth come out and talk about conquering his fears and beating the Fiend, but he's indestructible man.
Suddenly the lights go out and when they sort of come up The fiend has Seth in the claw again and he's bleeding ketchup again. Suddenly the speakers echo loudly
"Its time to play the game hahahahah"
We see HHH sprinting down to make the save. Actually he takes 10 minutes to get into the ring to save Seth but the Fiend flees in fear of the Gaymeaah. For the next several weeks we get Firefly fun house with Bray talking about the theme of forgivenss, and while he figures HHH for holding him down the Fiend doesn't.
This leads to a PPV match between the Gaymeaah and the Fiend, where HHH beats up the fiend for 45 minutes, but the fiend keeps kicking out. Stephanie comes out and with a sinister look hands the game a sledge hammer, HHH hits the fiend and pins him with his foot for the three count.
The next week we get the first ever in ring appearance of Bray Wyatt not the fiend. He comes out and wonders if the Fiend is maybe the weaker portion of his damaged psych. Suddenly the Firefly funhouse plays and we see Abby the Witch on stage with Seth and they start full on porn kissing as Bray looks on heartbroken.
Its the last we see of Bray for several weeks, when he re-appears wearing a suit and tie with nicely cut hair he's the new head of security of the authoritide lead by Stephanie and HHH.

I don't think this was a DQ in the HiaC match, I think it was a no contest, or Seth being named winner because they thought The Fiend could no longer continue due to injury. They never actually announced a winner. So, I think the angle is the ref thought Wyatt had his brains smashed in by the sledge hammer, which makes way more sense than a DQ.
I'm not overly fond of the main event, but I think calling it brand damaging is pretty hyperbolic. I think this was more about the downfall of Seth and him losing his humanity and maybe his mind.
I am not going to write it off until I see where they go next.

The face over came the heel and yet the crowd starts booing while chanting “refund”, “bullsh*t” and their competitor’s brand “AEW”
this was brand damage. Full stop

Smarks chant AEW any time they don't like something, they have been for a year now, so that really doesn't mean much of anything to me.
I've heard the chants, it's not like it was a full stadium doing it, the reaction was no worse than some of the things we've seen at Wrestlemania in the past.

You weren’t paying attention
The entire arena was chanting “Restart match”.
Then, at 0:30, the entire arena was chanting “A E dub”
https://streamable.com/8zp7i
The entire arena was chanting “Refund”

Yes, they all chanted restart match, I never said otherwise. The AEW chants are a fraction of the volume and very clearly not the entire arena, they were no louder than we've heard in other events.
And that tweet is like 1 section, not the entire arena and I don't doubt there were more, but claiming the entire arena were chanting refund and AEW is simply not true.

This is a new argument. "It couldn't have been that bad because they've put on even worse shows in the past." They're getting dragged everywhere for it.

I've seen bad reactions to WWE including ones where they super pushed Roman, but this was more then just Smarks making noise. Even today the reaction is incredibly negative, it will be interesting to see if subscriptions to the network drop.

You can deny it all you want, but the videos show it’s the entire arena. Not to mention multiple reports of others who were in attendance saying it’s the entire arena
Even if it was a portion of the fans with the chants, not a single fan out there was happy how the main event ended. Post PPV talks have been about abandoning watching wwe and even AEW have reminded people on Twitter they are on Wednesday nights. Vince’s decision on the HitC match was brand damaging.

Either they have to have the Fiend come out and literally destroy Seth tonight, or they should just find a way to drop this feud.
There's a trust factor in terms of selling PPV's and the fans are certainly going to have less trust, especially the long term damage is to subscription numbers to the network.
It will be interesting to see the fans reaction on Raw tonight when Seth comes out.

If he came out and bashed Rollin's head in tonight and said #### Rollins, #### HIAC, and #### anyone who gets in my way, then went to the back armed with a baseball bat hunting for anyone to come play with him in the funhouse it would redeem this in my own sad wrestling smark world.

Have it as Bray coming out and doing that and then have the Fiend in the Firefly funhouse saying "Dude, I even think you went too far"

Except that isn't my argument. I am just saying "brand damaging" is hyperbolic. It's going to take alot more than this to damage the brand.

So what are you suggesting, when they switch from chanting about restarting the match they just started chanting more quietly? Because if it was the "entire arena" as you so claim, that would be the only explanation for the AEW chants to be significantly quieter.
