Season 2 of Jack Ryan is out. We've watched the first 4 episodes. Not bad.

Can you download prime video like you can with Netflix?

I'm heading to the USA on thursday and would like to download Jack Ryan to watch.

Jack Ryan S2 starts off strong, but just like the first season quickly over reaches on the believably scale.

8 episode seasons are nice. No need to have filler plots to kill time.

Watching John Krasinski in 13 Hours helped ease me into him as Jack Ryan. FWIW

Just finished watching the fourth season of The Man in the High Castle, and overall it was quite enjoyable. Perhaps the best of the bunch and I will definitely rewatch the series at some point. However,

Just finished The Man in The High Castle.

I liked the last episode a lot, maybe not the final ending as much, but the interactions the older daughter and pretty much everyone towards the end were great. She kinda became the embodiment of the audience this season.

Spoiler!

Are all of the platforms for finding a movie as horrendous as the Roku, for Prime? There is no way to see what is newly released, and the selection of movies and television is completely random. Tonnes of tv movies from the 80s, you have to scroll through, before you find a blockbuster theatrical release from just a year ago.

Incredibly frustrating to browse for anything.

I found prime has the worst platform. Made worse by their massive collection of B movies.

My best bet was to click on a good movie and look at the “also watched” or whatever the bottom scroller is below the movie. Then if you click on a movie there it opens up a new page with more similar movies at the bottom. Rinse and repeat. Then I’d just wish list anything worth watching along the way.

Prime has the worst movies content by a mile right now.

But they have also put out several of the best series over the past few month.

I'm rewatching John wick 1 and 2, that I found after scrolling through 20 movies called basically Tracys Revenge part 3 feasturing Tori Spelling.

I'd come to believe I was the only one who had watched that show.

We found the 3rd season of Mrs. Maisel fantastic. Looking forward to starting season 4 of Expanse. I know I can google this, but ... any word on the LOTR series?

Regarding man in the high castle, Juliana bugged me more too as the series went on.

I was also hoping to see more about how the reich came to dominate the world.

I think the pretty much brushed it off as they got to the nuke first, hit DC for sure, probably London too, unconditional surrender followed.

I really can't think of what they said about the Russian front.

I don't use prime a lot outside of the odd TV series. Right now the only thing I use it for is Fleabag.

Powered through all of Jack Ryan's 2 seasons this weekend. It was great, up until about the end of episode 6. After that it really seemed to take a bad turn in quality and I really didn't care at all for the second season.

It's a good action escapist type of show if you're into it, but the writing could have been tighter.

So far I've watched The Boys (outstanding), American Gods (pretty good...bit disjointed and meandering), Good Omens (fun fantasy), and most of Man in the High Castle (good, but could go WAY deeper than just Sci Fi). Also re-watched Community.

Next up going to try The Tick, Fleabag, and Bosch.
