Terrific performance for game 1. Reset and bring a better game for the next one. 6 PKs are too many - need to have more flow for entire team.

They played structured and they played hard. That effort and desire is amazing to see!!!

Johnny scoring the tying goal seemed to spark the offence.

One of the most complete games that I've seen in a long time. All lines worked, the defense was great. Honestly Talbot didn't have a lot of work. The Jets looked flustered, I think they thought that they would be able to intimidate the Flames, instead the Flames pushed the Jets around the ice pretty good and were physical all night.

Yeah the injury sucks for the Jets, It was tough to watch.

Great all around effort, Super happy with it.

Great day, the Oilers get their face punched in and their pride ripped to shreds, the Flames with a complete win. I'm having pancakes for breakfast tomorrow.

Looks like the Flames and the Habs are setting up a rubber match.

Hell of a game! I was a bit worried after the 1st period, but full marks to the Flames for finding that next gear in the 2nd and not looking back the rest of the way.

D zone play was solid, special teams were excellent, Johnny looked confident, and Talbot had a good night (with a little help from the post).

I was also really impressed with their physicality and speed tonight, especially in the last two periods. All in all, a great start to the series and a good momentum builder.

Two more wins and we're in!

Don’t forget, they did beat Colorado 4-0 in game 1 of the playoffs last year.

I've missed playoff Bennett.

I've missed the four line Flames.

I've missed shorthanded goals.

I've missed huge goals from Johnny Gaudreau.

I've missed something registering on the GAF meter up and down the line up.

Great job wiping the slate clean and breaking out the textbook tonight and sticking with it Flames. It was sorely needed.

Let's go streaking.

One thing they do need to improve still is getting to the high danger areas at 5v5.

Only 2 high danger chances at 5v5 tonight, will need to figure that out if they want to win this series.

True but they looked bad doing it. This game the Flames looked solid.

Even in that game they were on their heels most of the game while giving up 40 odd shots iirc. This was a slow build into a complete wave that over powered the jets.
