Twitter Blue users will have no limits

Can't see there being a big takeup for Twitter Blue if that's the case, even amongst power users, there can't be a huge number that are sending >200 DMs and >20 tweets in a day.

Haha, every other platform allows for free content generation and then finds ways to monetize the content through ads, premium services, etc.
This proposal will limit the very thing you'd want to monetize. Lol

Musk asks engineers and advisors why his engagement numbers are tanking (seems like a totally reasonable question by a CEO right?).
One of the company’s two remaining principal engineers suggests it's because people are tired of his behaviour. They show him a Google Trends search that shows his search popularity is 10% of what it was a while ago. They found no evidence of the algorithm being biased against him.
He didn't like that so he fired them.

“We haven’t seen much in the way of longer term, cogent strategy,” one employee said. “Most of our time is dedicated to three main areas: putting out fires (mostly caused by firing the wrong people and trying to recover from that), performing impossible tasks, and ‘improving efficiency’ without clear guidelines of what the expected end results are. We mostly move from dumpster fire to dumpster fire, from my perspective.”

Ha. Also this
Quote:
Last year, before Musk took over, the FTC fined Twitter $150 million for breaking its agreement. Another breach would almost certainly result in millions of dollars in additional fines and a flurry of news coverage — just the thing, perhaps, to get the views on Musk’s tweets trending up again.

I’m an active user on Twitter (over 12 years) and I’ve never sent that many DMs that whole time and it’d probably take me three days to top 20 tweets.

CNN reports that "625 of the top 1,000 Twitter advertisers, including major brands such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, Jeep, Wells Fargo and Merck, had pulled their ad dollars as of January."
And "monthly revenue from Twitter's top 1,000 advertisers plummeted by more than 60% from October through January 25, from around $127 million to just over $48 million."

I guess unbanning racists isn't doing well.
Mabye that's is plan with the limits for free users, rather than increasing income strip down the infrastructure to what they can afford.
