Thanks guys, I just hate trying to research picks. Its hard trying to find out what happned

I've now found an error with pick 108. The pick was property of the Islanders from my initial start of this thread

1) As best I can tell, 108 should have gone to NYI in the Josh Brown trade. Can you confirm that The Scorpion?
2) The 3rd round pick(NJ) in the Pitt deal shows on Buffalo's team page.

Its not a problem, I changed it to Florida that first time but changed it back and posted just so that I had a record in case I was wrong. Its easier to do when the current team has the pick still, rather then trying to roll back 4 trades to find I placed it on the Flames rather than Florida.

Last thing I want is for a team to show up at a draft a loose a pick, so I try hard to back check every pick and document it... in a case like this one, I just like to make sure

Yes my mistake. I think I received pick 108 from Buffalo in the Josh Brown trade but I must have forgotten to put it in here. Just checked the trade and I also forgot to include the pick in there.

Then that pick was sent to Montreal in the Lehner deal and then Montreal sent it to Pittsburgh. Sorry for the confusion Hanna I just totally forgot to post it here.

Pick went from Buffalo -> NYI -> Montreal -> Pittsburgh.

I had the pick on the islanders originally, and I made the excel sheet from the team pages. From the time I posted this thread the pick has been traded to the sabres.

Maybe the wrong pick was sent in a trade then was listed, if thats the case I need to find that pick now as well

No, in the Josh Brown trade, no pick was sent for some reason. The pick that was supposed to be sent was 108 but either SportsJunky or I must have forgotten to include it in the deal. It was probably that dingus in Buffalo. But anyway — the only mistake here is the exclusion of pick 108 in the processing of the original deal. Everything else appears to be correct and the pick is correctly allocated in this thread to Pittsburgh, which is what I think really matters. No other pick was sent by the wayside in the process.

Nope I received pick 92 just fine from Pittsburgh. The problem I think arose when I traded it to the Rangers. I didn't include the actual pick in the deal which I should have — I instead put in a condition that said "92 to NYR" which is standard procedure after the rollover, not before.

I have no idea how the actual pick got back to Pittsburgh. Working on figuring this out. Sorry for causing so many issues.

When I look at the offer NYI sent to me in the Brown trade, there is no mention of the 4th rounder.

^ exactly. That's the explanation for pick 108, easy peasy. It belongs to the Pens.

As for pick 92, still trying to figure this one out. It should be property of the Rangers but I didn't send it to them as part of the proposal on the site which really screwed things up.

The "past trades" page on the CPHL site is incredibly inaccurate. It has me as trading picks that I never possessed, such as picks 107 and 97, to Montreal in the Lehner trade. Incidentally it says that one of the picks I traded is pick 92, but the site is so inaccurate in how it tracks picks that I have no idea how to track it. Besides — I knew that I had already traded pick 92 to the Rangers. I offered Goffie four other fourths: picks 89, 100, 108, and 109. That is accurately reflected in this thread.

IMO this thread is perfectly accurate. But the site has issues with the ways picks are tracked at times.
