Because the Oilers, with no cap space, or trade chips is riveting content on trade deadline day.

I don't think he a Peters were particularly close. Skinner played down the line-up for Peters if memory serves.

Trade deadline has been pretty much a bust so far. No wonder they are talking about Edmonton. If anyone knows how to distract from busts its the Edmonton Oilers!

Flames group of core players is locked for the next couple season... dont see why they need to sell the farm to keep up with other teams that windows are closing due to salary cap issues (ie: Winnipeg).



Winnipeg, Columbus, SJ have major cap/team issues starting next season. Flames are OK moving forward.
