Not till 2025

Assuming they bring it back at all. It's hilarious how bad US Survivor is compared to Aussie (or the other international versions). Yet Survivor US still has people that vehemently defends it. Someone should get Probst to sit down and watch Aussie Survivor, maybe he'll take note?

Are there other international versions that come close to the quality/entertainment value of Aussie Survivor?

Like I said previously, I can't even watch the US version anymore.

No not really, the others are all pretty low budget. Do go back to about Season 3 or 4 of Aus Survivor when Jonathan LaPaglia took over and watch up to current. All are good

Probably in a year. Cheese, can you post that link with all the seasons of AU survivor?

Seriously watch the last 2 seasons. Some of the best I’ve ever seen. Blood & Water prob has the best final tribal ever and last years, the best regular tribal with blindside.

As mentioned in the other thread, Aus Survivor is looking to pit a USA vs Aus season filming in September for Jan airing, they apparently are also filming a regular-length newbie season this July as well!! Great news if true.

This wouldn’t be the first time Survivor contestants from the US have competed on Australian Survivor. In 2018, two-time Survivor runner-up Russell Hantz appeared on the Champions v Contenders edition, while two-time Survivor winner Sandra Diaz-Twine participated in Blood v Water with her daughter, Nina Twine, in 2021.

Hopefully that means we get two seasons in 2025. Survivor 50 will also feature returnees. I know they're not for everyone, but I tend to enjoy seasons that have returning players. They don't need to overload them, but having fans vs. favourites every few years or one or two returning players can make a season more interesting.

I really hope they bring back Mark for at least one of these seasons.

I’m also hoping they do at least 35 to 39 episodes for the USA vs Australia. That would be a kind of happy medium between the 29 episodes versus the 47 episodes
