Agreed, and as you said it's hard to do when he has no weapons..I truly believe right now without MT, Saints may have THE worst WR/TE group in the NFL. They can't even get separation to get open, to the point Saints fans were legit excited to finally get 2018 3rd round bust WR Tre'Quan Smith back yesterday who can at least get open...he just can't catch the ball and is made of glass. Jameis with back to back dimes last night, Stills & Tre'Quan let it hit the turf.
Not saying Jameis is the answer, he had some bad throws early yesterday...but I just want him to get a fair shot at it with some actual weapons out there to help him before figuring out next offseason if he's the guy or not. At least the OL is finally almost healthy as of yesterday.

I get the analogy but it's kind of dumb. Just say "we are building something and it takes time but as long as we keep at it we will get better". No need to compare team building to soil and roots.

Forgot to post this last night but per Schefter, JJ Watt is to undergo shoulder-ending surgery.
So, the JJ Watt injury woes continue.

He managed to play 16 games (for only the 2nd time since 2015) in a season where his team was in the tank and then goes to a possible Super Bowl contender only to have his season cut short after 7 games.

I get that he's down to 14th string wideouts, but it's still pretty jarring to see Rodgers rocking a halftime line of 10-21 for 64 yards. Overall terrible game so far.

Pack are without their top 2 CB, top 3 WR, top pass rusher, all-pro LG, their DC, and a few back ups....and somehow have the lead against the unbeaten Cards.
Dont expect it to finish that way but hell of an effort for the 1st half.
Doubt Rogers hits 200 yds...just no one to throw it too.

OK...one of the ugliest collisions you will see.
Cardinals guy is out cold before he hits the ground....Packers guy looks like his entire leg exploded.....yikes.

Packers have botched their timeouts so if they kick a FG here they'll be in trouble.

Cardinals need to score a TD with 0:00 left, don't even let Rodgers Hail Mary
