Rob's brother Joel, also from Calgary, has been an executive producer of the Simpsons for years.

Many of the writers on the Simpsons were Ivy League educated nerds. I'm a bit of a nerd myself, so I always appreciated bits like this one (even though the author of the clip got the law number wrong).VIDEO
