Flyers/Canes affiliates went over 6 hours, and 7+ periods of hockey.

Alex Lyon who was up with the Flyers at one point this season made 94 saves on 95 shots. His counterpart had an easy night making only 51 stops.

One goal on 95 shots. Well, sounds like the future Hurricanes are very much like the current Hurricanes.

From the link you posted, "Ten years after the top affiliates of the Philadelphia Flyers and Carolina Hurricanes made American Hockey League history, they were at it again."

That game a decade ago was only 3:50 shorter. The Phantoms have also played in the 9th longest OT in the AHL back in 2004. What is it with this team? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overtime_(ice_hockey)
