Haha. Good. But really this was a team that spent about what 80-90% of the season out of a playoff spot? Then when they got healthy shot up the standings into 2nd place.
I hope they never play another playoff game though, never mind win one.
I truly hope Preston or Yawney are not on the Flames short list. I don't have good memories of Yawney as a Flame or Preston as a coach. Even the Lethbridge Hurricanes suffered after they hired Preston.
Love me some Trent Yawney. Many years ago a buddy and I were at a bar and it was his shtick to tell the ladies he played for the Flames. So I went along. She asked me who I was and I came up with Trent Yawney.
Yeah that didn't work.
I was out with Chris Joseph (Oilers, his son tragically died in the Humbolt crash actually) and he had the same idea.
He asked me if I could pull off a french accent because I looked enough like Gelinas (Oiler teammate) to pull it off. I said sure and we proceeded to work a nurse's cabaret.
Issue? Gelinas' fiance was there, heard her man was there, saw her man was me, knew her man wasn't me.
Ended poorly.

Awesome, I've done the same thing. Been told I resemble Rick Nash. Its never worked though as I always need to leave the bar early to get ready for my next game.
