Default 2020/2021 English Premier League

We might as well start the next iteration of this, with the Community Shield scheduled for this Saturday (The unofficial start to the season)

Will Arsenal be better this year? Does Messi make his way to the EPL? Will Spurs continue to suck and get back to being the worse London team? Will City ever be impacted by Financial Fair Play? Will Liverpool repeat? Will fans return to the stadiums?

All these and many more questions to be answered.

KEY DATES
September 12th - Start of the season
October 5th - Close of International transfer window
October 16h - Close of domestic transfer window

The beginning of the season is a good time to be an Arsenal fan. No.1 before the first game, thanks Alphabetical order.

Woah - I didn't realize they were actually starting the 20-21 season mostly on time.

That's kind of awesome.

Oddly enough....the players got a longer break than they normally do. They just couldnt really go anywhere or do anything with it.

Other than 'Arry Maguire. He could travel to Greece to assault some folks...but that largely cant be helped.

Not only are they starting on time but there will be fans in attendance at the Brighton vs. Chelsea friendly this weekend. Limited numbers but still there's progress.

That’s great to hear. I don’t know what the exact details are for the fan return, but it seems like a doable task with a smart plan in place. Hopefully it works.

The Wolves away kit is nightmarish. WTF?
And I don't need another yellow one. Will have to try to find an away shirt from last season, and perhaps a Pulisic Chelsea.

It is really horrible. The white shoulders on the front but not the back make no sense. The blue paint smears could have been done well but they've really messed it up.

They look so awkward. I thought Chelsea's third was going to be the worst kit of the season but Wolves have got that sewn up.

I jumped on the Wolves bandwagon when they got promoted and have been lurking on their forum.

One of their posters found this on Twitter.

I'd buy the white mock up

The all white is fantastic. More German than Germany's kit. Not sure what's going on with that other one.

Crazy how many teams are sponsored by gambling companies. Did a quick google and half the PL teams last year and 17/24 of championship teams were sponsored.

Speaking of horrid kits, the Arsenal “Freddy Krueger Slashers” took out Liverpool in the Community Shield on penalties today.

Also of note, that jersey, plus the Liverpool away aqua camo, are all uniquely individual in design, as the patterns on each apparently differ between every jersey...not sure if that helps or hinders the counterfitters.

I actually really like the Arsenal away kit (albeit maybe a bit biased)

Donny van de Beek to United for €45m seems to be happening. Would have loved Grealish, but he was always going to be too expensive once Villa stayed up ... van de Beek seems to be a smart alternative.

The All or Nothing on Tottenham has the first three episodes on Prime tonight. Obviously, we know what happens, but it’s really quite well done and interesting. I’m looking forward to the upcoming episodes that will show some of the transfer window and how that goes behind the scenes. It’s pretty cool though, and you get a little more feel for what these clubs are dealing with in their players and staff.

Finally...the first show since 'Oil Change' that can appropriately use 'Yakety Sax' as its intro theme.

I think all of these are excellent. From Sunderland to Man City and even the gag inducing Barcelona. Edited the way they are in favour of the story they want to tell regardless, getting the glimpse in behind it all gives an appreciation for a lot of things in running a club and the game itself. It gives you a side of the players and the interactions that there is no way you would if you turn on the games Saturday and listen to the pundits post game and pregame.

Looking forward to watching this too.
