Haha they're the creatures from the TV show The Strain. I guess that show wasn't that popular.

This Clippers team looks deadly already this season.

And they don’t even have Paul George yet

Personally I found the Clippers against LA a very run and gun approach. It was only the first game but I didn't find there was any intention to pass from almost anyone. The team will probably get better over time in that regard, but I personally didn't find them great. It was the Kawhi show for the most part but when the other guys got it they were playing aggressive to the basket, solo.

Why not just give Boston every call this game?

Refs gave the Raptors their first free throw with 3:57 left in the second quarter, lol.

Watching the highlights of the Magic game with those throwback jerseys and court FVV keeps making my brain think he's Mighty Mouse out there.

Two things:

1. Pascal and Giannis are gonna be unstopable in a few years.
2. The Rockets and Wizards just played a 159-158 game in regulation...WTF?

1. Pascal, Giannis and OG are going to be unstoppable. The athletic ability and skill of those 3 on the court at the same time would be incredible. Dare to dream I guess.

2. Imagine shooting 63% from the field and 56% from 3 and still losing! Ouch.

Broken hand for Curry - crazy to think all of Thompson, Durant, and Curry could be out long term.

Well gives the Warriors a reason to tank now and add a young stud into the lineup next year once Curry and Thompson are back.

I'm going to savor every game Draymond Green has to endure with this G league team!

Even Curry isn't a factor this season. they were down 43-14 to the Suns after the 1st quarter at home!

and Durant isn't on this team anymore...

Have no idea why they re-signed the sack of potatoes Gasol. He's just terrible.

Marc? Raptors didn't resign him, he had a player option for this year, which he opted into.

I knew that. That's why I said add a young piece to Curry and Thompson and didn't include Durant in that statement.

I meant it in the general sense that all three of those guys that were in the finals last year have been injured in the last 6 games that the Warriors had played.

At this point I think it might even be worth GSW checking the trade market for Green and/or Russell. I'd imagine they could get expirings and decent draft picks for those guys, given how wide open the league is right now. That, plus their own high draft pick this year, lots of salary flexibility and a fully healthy Thompson and Curry would be a solid future. Not how they wanted to start their new era in a new arena, but they've got to play the hand they've been dealt.

To me it makes more sense to hold on to Russell for now and maybe let him drive his value up a bit. He's gonna the man for a while for the Warriors so if he has another stellar season like last year he'll be pretty valuable. Fully agree with the thinking they should tank, this Curry injury might be a blessing in disguise because they were probably not even gonna win a playoff series even if they did make it. Netting a top 5 pick in year that was gonna be a throwaway even if Curry was healthy would be huge for them. I also like the idea of moving into a new building simply to tank lol. Green is a bit harder to move, not sure there's a market where you can get fair value. He's still a very good and versatile defender.

It would appear Pascal’s next step in his progression is MVP.

It brings up the question. Could the Raptors feasibly add someone later this season and go for at least an eastern finals win? Or are we screwed by cap?

It's impressive how much Pascal has improved his 3 point shooting.
