Dinos fall to the Huskies 29-15 in Saskatoon earlier tonight, but are still in first place in Canada West with a 4-1 record.

Golden Bears defeat UBC 40-20 to move into a tie with the Dinos for first place in Canada West which sets up a tasty matchup next weekend between the provincial rivals.

Been a long time since the Battle of Alberta actually was a interesting matchup based on records.

Not sure if a loss on the road in a tough environment merits a four position drop. The more important thing to focus on is the game this weekend against the Golden Bears.

Heading into the Thanksgiving break, the Dinos are 1st in the conference, despite having neither their #1 QB or 1st string kicker playing today.

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching Carson Dueck, their freshman kicker today, when he was younger. Great kid, cool to see him suit up for the Dinos

I think this is DiFonte's last year of eligibility if I'm not mistaken, so it's a great time to get the new young placekicker acclimated.

So I'm kind of bursting with pride as Karson Moroz signed his papers for the Dino's today to play for them next year. Karson was my running back in my first year as an offensive coordinator with the Bantam Cowboys Grey.

He came off of missing a year with a devestating leg injury and was forced into the running back role due to injuries. I've never met a young man, he was coachable and his work ethic was through the roof, and in a short time he picked up the running back role and became one of the best backs that I've ever seen.

Him playing for the Dino's is a dream come true.

This is his highlight reel from 2016

Dinos move up to two spots to #4 in the nation this week despite not playing (Canada West teams had their traditional Thanksgiving weekend break).

Dinos will need a big 2nd half in Winnipeg as they are trailing 33-7 at halftime to the Bisons.

Final score from Winnipeg is Bisons 43, Dinos 29. Huskies play UBC later today with a chance to tie Calgary for first place in Canada West.

Oh man, the T-Birds stage a huge 4th quarter comeback to stun the Huskies 38-37. Regina defeated the Golden Bears 31-17 as well today which means the Dinos retain sole possession of first place in Canada West.

Dinos drop 4 spots to #8 in the rankings, however of greater importance is the last game of the regular season against UBC at McMahon where a win wraps up first place in Canada West.

Dinos lead UBC 25-14 at the half. 30 minutes away from locking up first place in Canada West.

Dinos will play the Manitoba Bisons next Saturday at McMahon in one of the semi-finals. The Huskies will host the Golden Bears in the other semi-final.
