Omg the Kiwis lost back to back T20s to India in super overs. It’s getting comical at this point.

The Kiwis get whitewashed 5-0 against India in the T20 series.

They just couldn't handle the pressure in the last 3 matches, they were on track to chase down the totals in all those.

The Kiwis have avenged their T20 whitewash with a dominating 10 wicket win over India in their first of 2 tests. The hosts only needed 10 balls in their second innings to hit the target of 9. It was India's first test loss since 2018 and ended their streak of 7 straight test wins.

Some solid bowling from Southee, Boult, and debutant Kyle Jamieson. India's batsmen looked helpless!

How does NZ follow up being blown out by Australia by blowing out India? I know home advantage means a lot but that is a full 180.

I want able to see any of the Australia series, but I know a number of key players were injured namely Williamson and Boult (Ferguson and Nicholls as well). Any team would struggle in aus without their captain, best batsman and bowler, and the patchwork team was in way over their heads.

Along with the returning players there were some sensible moves such as dropping Mitchell Santner and Jeet Raval who were not getting it done internationally.

Test cricket is back with England hosting the Windies. In the category of that is still kind of gross the now banned practice of shining the ball with saliva has been replaced with using back sweat.

I didnt watch any of it but I'm pretty impressed that the Windies pulled out the win. They've been a crap test side for as long as I've been following the sport. Well done to them!

I managed to watch bits and pieces of the Test match, it was great to see live cricket again after a while.

West Indies always bring their A game against England despite missing some key players in Hetmyer, Paul and Bravo.

Sort of sneaked up on me - IPL2020 has started. Looks like they are playing all the games in the UAE in three different spots: Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. Empty stadiums of course.

I have Telus and the games are on Willow TV for no extra fee as far as I can tell. Should be fun!

Man, watching cricket again reminds me how bad video review is for North American sports. Cricket just has it done perfect:

1) Close calls don't get called on the field - they go directly to the video umpire
2) Only 15 seconds to determine if you want to challenge - prevents all the dumb delays where guys are checking with the video room (I'm looking at you MLB)
3) Reviews are quick, usually less than 1 minute
4) You can literally see the review as it's happening - no "hidden" angles or other BS like that

North America - step up your video review game!

I love how polite the umpires are when talking in the review.

"Can I have another angle please? Slow it down, rock and roll please. Thank you."

Can someone who knows cricket better than me help me understand the Narine ruling on illegal bowling? Half of the stuff I'm reading is saying he's getting railroaded because his body naturally has that kind of bowling action, and the other half says he has had a history of this and should start getting kicked out quicker

India bowled out for 36!

It was the lowest test innings in 65 years and India’s lowest score ever.

They were bowled out for 12 I think to end the first innings to begin Day 2. Went from 232/6 to 244.

Brilliant comeback by India to take the second test. Some nervy moments but the Indian captain batted brilliantly and captained masterfully. Indian team had two debutants, lost a front line fast bowler to injury and didn't let Australia score more than 200 in either innings.

All three Test series are entertaining.

India with a brilliant comeback after a massive collapse in the previous Test.

Pakistan almost had a draw against Kiwis (Now the #1 Test nation)

Sri Lanka vs South Africa had some brilliant batting displays on both sides.

Without a doubt this is India's best test series victory when you consider all the injuries they went through. This was their B/C team who beat Aussies at the Gabba where they haven't lost a test match in 32 years!

From 36 all out to winning the series is just incredible!
