That loss to nashville with the game-ending brawl still leaves me verklemt. I love me some Darryl "if you can't beat them, BEAT them" Sutter hockey. So, go get him. And then, just like that, we can be the scariest team in the NHL, even with JG... At least it's an identity...

I could see this for sure, and would probably be surprised if he didn't sign here at this point.
Team was rumoured to have had some interest in him since he was drafted, and with his brother re-signed here I think you see it happening.

I actually think Nick could score 20 goals in the right situation. I like him as a middle 6 winger. I could see him as high as the second line or as low as the fourth. He was even speculated to go to the Flames at 4th overall in 2014 if they were not going with one of the big 4.
It would be nice to see him come here and fulfill his potential which would be a nice payback for losing Bennett

Both of them on the same line in a BOA or playoff game would be fun though. Super Smash Ritchie Bros.

I just want to see another year of complaints about Sutter playing Gaudreau with Ritchie.

that's not a bad idea. He's got some talent and finishing ability and could be a physical presence on that line.
He's not going to be a line driver but most lines right now have strong pairs and a nice complimentary piece. Perhaps he can be that.

Along with Pitlick it would really improve the depth on the roster in the middle 6.

I would throw a 1 year league minimum prove it contract at him. I think he would jump on it to show he can still play and stay healthy.
