USA hockey is using Coronato as a C in the WJSS. Didn't get on to the score sheet in a 4-2 win. First game of the camp.

I see that not as a burn, but as humility. He's acknowledging he's less talented than Johnny but works for his points.

Did you listen to the bit immediately before that? It was an idiot in Eric Francis at the microphone.
The Harvard/Fox didn't sign with us stuff was pretty bad. It's something you can ask as a reporter, for sure, but how Francis asked it/commented on it was embarrassing.

Won't lie, haven't looked much into this draft with everything going on, but nice pick up by the Flames with Coronato. Can't believe Lysell fell to 21 though, could end up being a nice steal for the Bruins.

The assist on Lucius' goal was really nice. The shot in the shootout was really awesome too. Very quick release, very hard shot and very accurate.

Coronato attacks the middle of the ice drawing defenders to him. The defenseman on the other side had to stay middle because 27 threatened that ice.
Lucius waltzes down right side and no d man to counter him. Could only dive in desperation.
Guys who attack the middle open room for team mates!

Love to see it. The flames have been masters of the buttonhook at the blue line for so long that I almost forgot what it looks like to see someone confidently attack the middle of the ice.

Not to digress, but we keep playing centres who excel most down the middle at wing. Bennett, Dube, even Backlund for a stretch a few years ago.
It'd be nice if Coronato were developed as a centre. And also, Eichel.
