Anyone else experiences issues with NHL.tv?

The NHL's streaming platform has always been an absolute tire fire but this season takes the cake for me. The player freezes/crashes at least 10 times each game I watch. Been happening all season no matter what I do.

Anyone else experiencing similar issues? Or anyone managed to solve this?

Never used but I have lots of problems with Sportsnet app on appleTV that are similar.

Probably good strategy to combat illigal streams but at this point a guy in a dorm can out perform broadcasting NHL hockey

oh yeah it's just terrible. So choppy and unreliable

Which is amazing, because Mario is pretty reliable. For free. How do you manage to lose that battle to an illegal streaming site. Maybe they should just hire those guys to run their app.

I haven’t had synced up sound all season. So intermission is unwatchable… for a new reason.

I like the NHL and hope they continue to have success but they really aren't helping themselves with the online product and their odd blackouts.

I've paid for NHL tv online in the past and was blacked out from watching Flames playing Sharks or Kings while in Hawaii. The random blackouts because I live in Vancouver's region don't make sense. When I did watch online games quality was either worse or comparable to free streams that are easy to find. I want to give the NHL my money or more particularly the Flames but why would I when their product is inferior to what I find for free?

this, I have sportsnet now because of my legit subscription yet I can cast from that site (PC to my 75" TV) and it works better that what I actually pay for lol.

Also, no blackouts...Imagine stopping someone who wants to consume your product

I use Mario all the time on the road and it's as smooth as anything. (When I used to go on the road).

Heck I've used it in airport lounges and have better results than trying to use sportsnet now with a very fast 300Mbps internet at home.

The NHL can't get out of it's own way sometimes.

You're in HK? I'm in the mainland and it's always been terrible but this year is especially bad.

I was watching Game 6 of the Leafs Habs but archived and midway through the game it just cut to the end and showed the score. That's happened a few times for me. It's a horrible product. MLB.tv works great over here. So does NFL Gamepass.

The customer service is even somehow worse than the product.

Do we have a different version of nhl.tv in the US? It's nearly perfect and smooth 60fps for all the games I watch on Apple TV and Roku.

My NHL.tv experience in US is near perfect also.
Mobile data or tablet/Firestick/GoogleTV via app.
I would not expect it to be different Canada vs US

Nhl.tv in the US here as well. The quality is dependent on the feed a lot. Flames Sportsnet feed? Ass. Slow. Buffering. Anyone else’s TSN or local RSN feed? Smooth as eggs.

I laugh at anybody who still willingly gives their money to a useless platform like NHL.tv Gamecenter or whatever it's called. I've ranted many times about it on CP and could probably go back and copy/paste them all. Others have done the same, so the proof is out there how terrible it is. Basically I tried my best to give the NHL my money for 3 years, only to see them #### it up each and every time, so no more of that.

Thankfully the NHL and 80s Penguin's superstar saved the day. The league could learn a lot from that guy and how to make streaming seamless.
