Pat DiNizio of the Smithereens Dies at 62

Sad news. Pat DiNizio suffered a bad fall at home a couple months ago but was apparently recovering just fine. Not sure if his death was somehow related to his fall.

I wasn't a huge fan of the band but they had some good songs. A Girl Like You was a fantastic song.

He had become quite obese over the years, so not really shocking. The Smithereens were a good band. Not pretentious and had a some songs that sound ahead of their time.
