I'd love to see the Translations of the Cadillac's German Warning Messages though.

Solid, solid episode.
Look in the show trivia area, they do have the translations. And lots of other funny tidbits every episode.

Watched a bunch of the Top Gear specials over the weekend. Great television! Some of my favorite moments:

- Entering Alabama and having the run in at the gas station. The wife and I were trying to decide whether that was staged or not. Seemed a little too convenient.
- The patagonia special with the whole incident at the end was pretty entertaining.
- Polar special when they were training for the cold weather was quite hilarious.

Just finished the RV episode, I think had to be the best episode of the season! Pure comedy throughout.

You can just tell they had so much fun filming this one.

I complain a lot about The Grand Tour and how it's scripted and more of a comedy than a car show, but holy crap...I haven't laughed this much for a Top Gear/Grand Tour show in a while. There are so many moments in the RV episode where I was laughing so much there were tears coming out of my eyes - no exaggeration.

Yeah, that was the three of them at their best.

The thing that made the RV episode good was that while many of the situations were clearly scripted they worked because they relied more on the natural interactions they have. But there were a number of things that clearly weren't scripted and they worked better. And if they were scripted they should be getting Emmy's.

I just watched the Botswanna special from season 2, not sure how I missed it the first time through.

After May fills his aquarium and trys to drive and the water just crashed down on him I just about lost it.

Not unexpected. That was one of the best specials those three have done including Top Gear ones...IMO.

Where are you watching the specials? I have been wanting to show my girlfriend the Patagonia one since we traveled there in December.

You didnt perhaps make any disparaging remarks concerning the Falkland War while you were there did you? They're still a tad touchy on that score...

Found them at some possibly shady sources.

Can you tell me where those sources might be, so you know, I can avoid them at all costs...

A little bump to say this is probably the best season of the Grand Tour so far.

Looking forward to the format change next season.
